My personality type is ENFP which makes me an empathetic leader. I try to bring out the best in people by first forming genuine relationships with them. This allows me to understand on a very deep level what the members of my team desire, and empowers me to create a reward system around these desires which motivates them in achieving a stated goal. I enable my team members to have fun whilst working towards common goals as well by using my bubbly personality. My strong sense of creativity is showcased every day by my dynamic ideas which I ensure get out the door just as I envisioned them. My team would handle the remedial tasks in between as they are not my forte. As a leader, I would want to be the face of the team to the outside world to ensure that the public feels and is attracted to the same levels of dynamic enthusiasm which drives us every day. I would ensure that the work environment for my team is fun and full of life energy to keep them energized and have their creative juices flowing. The work environment would be an exact physical manifestation of my ENFP personality.

This makes me a better leader as I have learnt the importance of reading people’s emotions through their body language. To be a successful leader building and maintaining relationships is essential as these relations can drive people towards a common goal. These relations with me can extend to other team members which can also influence the efficiency of people who I lead as a unit.
Showcasing a person’s usefulness to the team can guide me to know how to create efficient work environments where people create a community and no one feels like an outsider. People in this community feel safe and comfortable. This environment enables them to be more open to sharing and implementing their creative ideas to improve the overall team’s
My personality reveals that I am extroverted meaning that I am focused and draw energy from those around me, this is very important with my career choice since I will have to interact with hundreds of people. I work very well with groups, and people enjoy being around me which would make my job that much easier, and people would be able to feel comfortable with me. My personality could also be described as being a sensor, this meaning that I work diligently, excel at hands on activity, and remain focused when considering facts. This is exactly the skills needed to be an athletic trainer since all of the work is hands on and I would have to remain focus while determining what has to be done with an injury of sorts. Last but not least, my personality shows that I am a judger, which means that I stay organized and methodical, and I am decisive. This is very much needed in my field because being in charge of so many athletes at a time requires me to stay organized. Also, being decisive is needed because I need to decide very quickly what is going to be done with a patient and how it will be
I believe myself to have all of the characteristics of a leader. The ability to get a team to work together smoothly during group activities so no disagreements occur. Listening to everyone eliminates the possibility for disagreement because if a team is in agreement before making a plan, the team will execute the plan easily. One of the main characteristic of a leader is being inspiring to everyone, this is why I pride myself to be a leading role model for student who want to follow in my footsteps, and become a great leader themselves, and maybe one day be in my
Positive points can be shared with other team members and best practice can be used in the workplace.
My friends and colleagues would describe me as charismatic, nurturing, and with a strong desire to learn, all
With my personality type being ISFP, I have learned that I am able to collect a large amount of information at one and that I am able to think before I speak. I would strongly agree with this personality type. I put other people’s feelings before my own. Another thing I have learned is that I should find a job where I am able to work with people and find a job were I will be able to make good use of my ability of being able to understand facts. My possible strengths would be to make being feel comfortable and valued.
As I get out of the car, I hear a girl screaming in the distance. Hearing such a noise instantly made me feel a chill go down my spine. As I walk against my own fear, I approach an overwhelming sign that says “Welcome to Six Flags over Texas”. My mother looks at me with a huge smile, reassuring me that there is nothing to be afraid of. Being only 8 years old at the time, I was a very hyper and ecstatic kid. Going against my own fears, I timidly rushed to the entrance. As I stood there before this monstrosity of amusement, my jaw was on the floor with astonishment. Leaving me in a state of shock,I could only slowly walk in with aw, and marvel at what was before me.
When being a kid you change personalities a lot, but me I have not. I’ve been a ESTJ (extraverted, sensing, thinking, judging) person my whole life. I think being a ESTJ really describes me well. Being a ESTJ means you are a joiner, you also like being the authority, they are very out spoken people too. These things describe me perfectly. I love being in power, I also let people hear what's on my mind. I love joining in on things too.
This week we have been really discussing some interesting topics on the birth of leadership, also the core skills along with the mandatory skills that compliment excellent leadership. From the reading, the four equally important part’s that displays excellent leadership consists of: Firstly, Building Relationships. I can agree, “Relationships should be the primary focus of any leadership position. When people become the key to the organization, decision-making is shared, vision is collaborative; the team that is correctly aligned becomes “ fiercely competitive and an ultimate high-performance entity”(Guttman, 2009). In my opinion, this is so true about the importance of building good positive working relationships. Building relationships is all about perception and attitude. If you are the new teacher or administrator on the job, obviously no one knows who you are and because people do not know who you are, those people may or may not be reluctant to change or to buy-in to your vision. If you exploit your expectations, your vision and involve them in the process, then your colleagues will trust

Embracing, respecting, and supporting the uniqueness of coworkers on a personal level will increase productivity, and cohesion on a professional level.
In terms of leading a team, I regard myself as an enthusiastic and considerate leader. My colleagues on my team can always feel my passion about achieving goals as well as my consideration about others. I intend to make conversations productive by understand other’s perspectives first. I also have a high standard of integrity and apply the same criteria on both myself and my coworkers. When I was working for Deloitte, I was always the first choice for all supervisors in my group if they need to find a project leader for a very diverse team. I have been nominated as the “Team Star” for two consecutive years.
My personality type is logistician(ISTJ). Some generally qualities are independent, logical, loyal, responsible, serious, organized, quiet and a rule follower etc. I found most of these qualities to be true about myself. I like working alone and think before I act. I need to have the facts before I set my k da to something. I'm pretty loyal since I keep things to myself and people can rely on me when they need some assistance. I am kind of quiet when I don't know where I am at or who I'm going to be dealing with. I don't like to be social and make conversations to others. I stay by myself until someone comes to me and speaks first. I can be serious at times but I'm a goofball and I like to be silly and sarcastic. I'm also a tile follower I
Leadership is about the interaction between the leader, the followers and the situation (Hughes, Ginnett and Curphy (2015, p. 15-26). If a given situation changes, the interaction between the leaders and followers can change dramatically. The leaders who understand well this interaction have a huge advantage because leaders are able to:
I really see myself as a humble guy, and an honest one. Some may even say I am brutally honest (at times). I'm great with communication, and I work well with others. I believe anything can be solved with teamwork, and I'm always willing to put in more effort to make any community a better one. I'm very easy to approach, and no player should have any issue coming to me with issues or just speaking with me in general. I have a fantastic memory, which goes great with planning things as well as remember past players and their past behavior.
