This is the analysis of the native people who were affected by the arrival of the British. As seen in this source there is a boy dressed in all his native clothing and he is outside. Then in the next photo is the same boy, in what looks to be a suit. The boys stance is completely different in the photo before as well. I believe the creator of this photo is trying to show the difference between before the British came and changed the Indians lives and made them do the thing they wanted. This links to globalization because the British practiced there own was and are now trying to force them on different cultures around the world.
One of the most iconic scenes from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope is when Luke Skywalker is standing in front of the binary sunset- the twin suns of Tatooine. Luke was just left behind by his friends because they were able to go to space and he was just told by his uncle that he must stay on Tatooine for another year. The creator and director of Star Wars, George Lucas, was incredibly successful for his movie series, but even more successful for its overall purpose: to sell toys to ten-year old boys. The use of ethos, pathos, and logos are very abundant in this movie. Ethos, Greek for “character”, is anything referring to or relying on the author’s credibility. Pathos, Greek for “emotional”, is anything that makes you feel emotion. Logos, Greek for “word”, is anything that makes you think. By using these he was able to persuade the audience into thinking, feeling, and loving Star Wars, making the audience want to purchase figurines.

External influences may guide an individual towards their destiny, but only the person themselves can attain their full potential once they believe in their own ability to succeed. As American positivist author Norman Vincent Peale once said, “Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy” (Brainy Quote). This can be seen in George Lucas’ Star Wars IV: A New Hope, the protagonist, Luke Skywalker, is an isolated young farmer on the planet Tatooine who is propelled in an unexpected mission to save the Rebel Alliance Leader, Princess Leia, as they struggle to defeat the Galactic Empire. To that effect, when analyzing George Lucas’ film from a Jungian psychoanalytic perspective, Luke is the main character

Much of the Star Wars ' credibility and popularity is owed to the richness of its fictional world as defined by writer/director George Lucas. In an interview, Lucas states that the original idea for Star Wars was modelled on the movies of his childhood, The “Flash Gordon movie serials and Edgar Rice Burroughs’ John Carter of Mars Series of books.” The mise-en-scène in Star Wars plays a vitally important role, so the question explored in this essay is how the use of mise-en-scène adds depth to the themes in Star Wars: Episode IV—A New Hope (1977), paying particular attention to ‘good versus evil’. This theme stands out in because it speaks to one of the oldest struggles of all, the battle between right and wrong.

Gothic literature and magical realism are the similar due to the fact that they both give a since of realism in a supernatural setting. For example Edgar Allen Poe's "fall of the house of usher" the narrator states" in this mansion of gloom...Rodrick usher had been one of my boon companions in boyhood"(14). This is a perfect example that shows realism in a supernatural setting. Another example is "house taken over" when the brother stated "wrought iron door... you could still hear the noises still muffled louder just behind us"(41). This is another example of magical realism at its best. As a reader we don't know if it is a supernatural noise that he is talking about or just an old door making noises. The similarities that are shown in both
