America is a place where numerous amounts of people immigrate in order to feel safe and free. America is a mother’s arms pulling you in for a warm hug. America provides you with a feeling of comfort and hope for the future. The America I believe in is a place where there is racial justice and women's
Imagine yourself on a regular day, on a regular hour, at a regular place. It’s your everyday routine, nothing special. No signal of change, no fresh air, and no new emotions. Everything seems to be in black and white. Eventually, one day...BAM! All of a sudden things around you seem strange, your ears can’t understand words coming at your direction, your body shivers when you step outside, you stare at a million faces you’ve never seen before, you eat when your body is not used to, you rest when you are not supposed to, you get out of bed at different times too. The money inside your wallet isn’t accepted anymore, you have no idea where everything is...you are in a different country!
The announcement below from Feeding America represents a major accomplishment and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by the Feeding America Network, including the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
The America I believe in is full of patriotism. In my opinion, America is the greatest countries in the world. America is not bound by dictatorship, tyranny, or king and queen. Also, America is a place for a new life, slate wiped clean. America has one of the best combatant systems in place in the world.
America has given a gift to this generation, in that gift is life, freedom, happiness, protection, and more, all crammed in that little box wrapped in silver paper and tied off with a red ribbon bow. She provides a barrier that shields the enemies from getting in the way of her citizens’ everyday lives, she doesn’t do it alone though. On that box there is a little note that reads, to the citizens of the United States from the armed forces. The military gave us that gift and they are also the prime reason that barrier is consistently there, they support that shield and keep it up over our country, they bless us with our rights and freedom, without the worrisome of not being safe. The stars and stripes represent this barrier, the braveness
As the United States of America celebrates its 239th birthday, it’s good to sit back and think about some of the things that make our land the absolute best country in the history of the world.
We worry about events unworthy of our time and have social statuses matter more than helping the hopeless in this world. To unite our country, we must all unite as one to face the real issues and stop slacking to be able to see a change happen. We all stand today together to make better changes that benefit us all and make America known for its greatness once again. We have split not because of the wars and other issues we have. We divided for we are the problem. We must love, support, work as one to become a united nation once again. With all hatred; we are only capable of destroying ourselves. Recently, one lone gunman decides to shoot rounds of gunfire at the Las Vegas Strip. Nearly injuring 22,000 people leading it to be America’s deadliest
The America I believe in is the world’s best country. It lets us have our freedoms, and it lets us learn to our best abilities. It also has the best and bravest soldiers and veterans in the world. Our country is the best in which to live and grow.
On Sunday, President Obama addressed America and the world about how American would not back down and would keep fighting ISIL, On Monday Donald Trump said in a press release that we should impose a travel ban on ALL Muslims, sparking outrage from American and the world. The question is then who is correct? Obama’s careful calculated, but often slow moves? Or Trump’s extreme but rapid moves? The solution would be more complicated than you think.
The America, I believe in is a place where you can be free. You aren’t made to do something. Anyone can go fishing and hunting in America because it is fun and is not illegal to do. I like to live in America because I can do my thing and have fun doing it. America has a lot of sports to do that I like to do. I’m glad I live in America because I can hang out with anyone I want. I can go anywhere in America. We have good holidays in America. We have the freedom do go where ever we want.
The America I believe in is the one with rights. We have the right to go to school. We also have the right to vote for the president in steed of having a dictator we can choose our own religion. Any one can salute Old Glory.
The America I believe in is the place that I live in. A place where ordinary people can be extraordinary. A place that people can run around on a court and get millions of dollars. Tackle people for one game and have enough money for the rest of their life. A place where you get paid to be someone else for people entertainment. A place where you can hold a camera up for 8 hours a day and live in a mansion and own 5 cars. A place where not everything is perfect, not everyone has a home or cars, not everyone has a job or can even get food every day. Men getting paid more than woman, whites getting paid more than blacks. People being racist because they think their better. Donald Trump as president, a guy who only likes skinny, small, hot, beautiful
America is described as the land of the free, people want to live here, are willing to leave everything they’ve ever known for a shot at the American dream. However there’s some problems in this country. Kneeling for the anthem is a disrespectful and undignified thing to do. People have risked their lives, some even have lost their lives, fighting for our freedom. The mass shootings in America is gruesome. Innocents have died because a couple of people want to pull a “silly stunt.¨ All people care about nowadays is their social status. Children have changed dramatically over the years because of what their social status is. America is becoming unsafe, generation Z defines being an American as kneeling for the anthem, mass shootings, and social status. Our generation is heading down to a path of failure, we need to turn back around and improve our country for many more generations to come.
In today’s society technology revolves around everything even in the union. Within the United States, President Obama gave a speech to the union about advancing America’s economy and making America a better place to live and how he plans to do so with the senate’s agreement. In defense, President Obama, in this speech is a technology optimist because he puts the idea that he wants to use the new technology to advance the society in a good way to help people in need and for a better nation. Some of Obama’s assertions were about working on being more efficient, becoming independent in energy, solving the job issue, education, and Healthcare.
The America I believe in is a land of optimism and hope. Every baby born has the chance to grow up and pursue the path he or she wants. With hard work, determination, and the right attitude, anyone could grow up to be President of the United States. For example, hard work brought Abraham Lincoln from a log cabin to the White House. Determination brought George Washington Carver to a position as professor at a college. The right attitude brought Michael Jordan, a teenager from North Carolina,
America is the place where dreams become possibilities. Known as being the land of the free and the home of the brave. America is the place where you live out your American Dream. This dream is ultimately influenced by American culture, which is driven by wealth.
