This weeks assignment covered a specific drum magazine and the Ruger 10/22 rotary magazine. I, realized the superiority of the Glock pistol when I, went through police training in Lackland Air Base Texas. I, was told by at least 90% of the Airman and Instructors that the Glock was better than our issued Berretta and it showed. People were barely passing the pistol course until we were told to just use the front sights. I, noticed over the years how Glock changed the firearms industry and not just with revolvers. According to Campbell (2017 Pg-1), the Glock holds most of the police market. I, completely agree this statement as it offers me better precision and holding capability.

State Senator Joseph Silk, plans to abolish abortion in the state of Oklahoma with his bill titled, SB 1118. SB 1118 would consider the act of abortion to be first degree murder. The bill has recently passed through the health and human services committee, and the first degree murder penalty was added after. Silk states, “Life begins at contraception,” and believes the embryos have every right to be protected as a one-year-old child would be. Unfortunately for Silk, the bill is currently stuck, held by the republic committee, and refusing to let SB 1118 be heard on the senate floor. After taking REL 100 my definition of religion has not change but it has gotten deeper in meaning. I still believe that religion is the guide book that explains the meaning of life. Within religion there are culture and belief systems that give people comfort and guidance. Religion is not just a meaning of life it’s a lifestyle. A lifestyle that may affect what you do, how you act, or even what you eat or wear. Religion can mean anything to anyone, it’s the most personal and intimate relationship between you and a divine entity to the most cultural activity in any given society.

I was devastated to hear that only ten students were allowed into ENG 102 for the spring semester, but this is my opportunity to show you that I deserve to be put in ENG 102. I believe I should be one of the ten students to advance into your ENG 102 class because I think I have what it takes. I have ambitions and dreams and if I don’t graduate because of this class they will just burn to ashes in the back of my mind.
