The song Rockabye, by Clean bandit, is a wonderful song. It is a beautiful masterpiece about a mother caring for her child. She is struggling to care for the young kid, but does all she can to take care of it. Not every mother is a single person that goes to the end to care for their kid, but all mothers do this regardless. Even if they aren't your real mother, they still pull through for you. I may not be someone with an adopted mother, but my mom still cares for me, and I need to care for her. Whether it be her crazy stories, her overly protective guidelines, or even changing things as time goes on, she greatly impacts my life.
Over time, we all experience weird or just awkward things that we tell ourselves, this'll be an epic story someday.

This was a big issue, but not as much as the swelling in her brain. She needed surgery to remove the skull to prevent her brain from swelling, which would lead to it crushing itself in the skull. Fortunately, she is recovering quickly. Although her vocabulary is limited to afternoon and breakfast right now, it is expected to return. My mom has looked after us for my entire life, (literally). So, now that she's in this position, it's time for us to re-pay the favor. So, I've got to do what she did for me. I have to help her get lids off of containers, help her move to the bathroom if she needs it, and just like she did for me, figure out what the heck she's saying. It's not easy to tell what someone wants just by them telling you "afternoon, afternoon, breakfast, afternoon… aha!". Although the struggle is a bit harsh sometimes, my mom means a lot to me. She can't tell me many stories or enforce many rules with two words (yes), but she can still change my life; and I can do the same for her. So just like in Clean Bandit's song, Don't worry, somebody's got you. And personally, that person is me, but that's all thanks to my mother, in the first
My mother is, to me, the best parent a kid could ask for. You’d be beyond lucky to have her as a parent, and I probably take her for granted a lot of the time, as most kids do. However, I know she plays a vital role in my entire family’s lives. Without her, we’d manage financially but not emotionally.
I grew up watching my mother strive to give me a better life and become a better person. Amongst great difficulty, she decided to finish school and attend university. Her hard work and determination have marked and defined my life. Every day she had to work, then go to university and later take care of me. She excelled in every aspect of her life, teaching me that the impossible is overcome through hard work and

My mom, Rachel is one of the people I look up to the most in life because she has taught me that no matter what the issue in front of you is, you can always get through it. She was born in Wrangell, Alaska but grew up in Sedro-Woolley. This is where she ended up having a baby at eighteen years old. She had struggled with drug abuse ever since her dad died at fifteen, so she left and didn't come back until she had control over her addiction. This took several years, but by the time she came back, she had a renewed sense of life. Rachel has a mission that she would not give up on anyone like everyone had given up on her. She has since
When I am having troubles of my own and need someone who will truly listen, she gives me great advice whether I like the outcome or not. She has guided and molded my sister and I into young ladies who know their self worth and who will not back down from anything. I have always looked up to my mother because she is strong as an ox, and by that I mean mentally, physically, and emotionally. She is simply this compared to any one I have ever met. As I have grown each day I follow her and pay attention to the things she does because one day I hope I can become at least half as great as she is. I say half because honestly, I don’t know if anything can beat
My mom has made a huge impact on my life, yet she may never know it. My mom does so much for me and my brothers that she usually doesn’t take time for herself. That impacts me a lot because it shows me what a hard-working woman looks like. She
The bad news in our lives at the time, of course, was our dad being sick. With that being said, this song gave us hope that, that bad news would someday bring about good news and that we should not worry. When Megan heard this song a different lyric stood out to her. “And we'll all float on OK”. She picked this lyric out, specifically, because it made her think of the time she had gotten in a wreck, pulling out of her high school parking lot. She said that she had to stay positive and remain optimistic because she knew that one day, everything would just ‘float on’.
The song is the first in the album “Save Rock and Roll” (a comeback album). The message the band sends to the listener is a personal
I consider my mother to be the most important person in my life because she has always been the rock in my family. She raised my two sisters and me to be independent, educated, and well-rounded individuals with little to no help from her family or my father. My mother learned at a young age that if you want something you must get up and find a way to achieve it for yourself. She worked two jobs to pay her way through college and always told my sisters and me that college was not an option, so she made sure we all
“What time are you coming pick me up today mom?” “I’m sorry honey, I cannot make it today because we can’t afford it this weekend.” This was a normal conversation between my mother and I on the weekends I was scheduled to spend with her.
Whether it is my mom, dad or my sister, I know I can count on them to make me feel happy. They are my weakness and my strength. I still remember the time when my dad used to cancel his important business meetings just to help me with the mathematics unit which I did not understand at all or my mom asking me about my day at school. They have emphasized
From working several jobs at a time to make sure I had everything I needed, she became the reason why I was raised the way I raised. The lesson that “ I should treat everyone like the most important person in the world because I will never know when I might need them” was engraved in my head was owned by my mother. Sometimes she would tell me that she had holes in her socks and I knew it was due to most of her money going towards my private school tuition in order for me to be able to have the best education I could get. My mother is my background, my identity, interest, and talent. She is truly the one that has set me up for success, regardless of how fatigued or overworked she is. She is the person who truly defines who I am and who I have become to this
While, my mother has also been a significant individual in my life, my grandmother has always been my confidant, someone I could go to whenever I was confused or needed guidance, and she always had the answers. Whether it was putting alcohol on a scrapped knee or lending a shoulder to cry on, I could count on her to be there during my most precious moments. The tough love has also
There have been a vast number of lives that have touched mine. Many different people have shared a piece of their soul in my formation. However, it is my mother who is the most important and most influential person in my life. My mother raised me by herself since the day I was born. My father was abusive and she left to make a better life for the both of us. She has worked as many as four jobs at one time. My mother wants to make sure my brothers and I have a better life than she did. It hasn’t always been easy for her, taking care of us on her own, trying to pay bills and making sure we had everything we needed. My mom has always had us involved in sports at a very young age. We always were doing something or involved in something
Getting to where I am today, was not easy. I had to overcome some obstacles that taught me some life lessons. One of the factors that has contributed to my life choices is my mother. I have a close relationship with my mom. Whenever I have something that is bothering me, I like to
