The first step of soccer is choosing your level. There are about three different levels for soccer when you are under 18. The first and lowest level is rec. Rec soccer is for beginners or people who aren’t very serious about soccer. This level is not very aggressive and there are no tournaments. Anyone can join and you don’t have to try out. The next level is travel-rec. This is the level in between. This is a little more skilled and serious than rec, but it depends what team if you have to try out. The last level is travel. This is the most serious and skilled level at this age. You must try out and some teams can be very difficult to make. There is also far traveling involved. In travel the game can get very aggressive and violent.

Even though football players pretty much headbut each other those helmets protect them, while soccer players have nothing when they head the ball. Also just the little injuries if you fall in soccer it will hurt more than if you fall in football. So football is more safe than soccer because of the abundance of protection.
Soccer, a sport in which two teams with eleven players each run around kicking or heading the ball into the net to score points. At least that's what the internet says it is, but in reality it’s so much more than that. Soccer teaches, engages, and exercises not just the body, but the brain as well. Soccer is one of my favorite sports to play, but I’ve had to give it up.
