I have played soccer since 2008. I had been playing with them for years, there was Squash, Josh, Jake and more. I was with them for 6 years but got kicked anyway. This is similar to how Boxer and Snowball were betrayed by the pigs and had to get out of the farm even though they were there from the start. In the novel Snowball gives his all at establishing the community in Animal Farm. Without Snowball a lot of the things on the farm wouldn't have happened. He was one of the main reasons that the revolution happened. For Boxer he was used and abused even more than Snowball, while Snowball was giving 100% Boxer would always give 120% putting his all and more into the development of animal farm. When others were not doing much he was giving that much more going above and beyond the call of duty. Snowball and Boxer …show more content…
Along the way some came and went while others I am still good friends. With Diamonds the years I was there were good ones and while I wasn't the best I would give my all. The teams I was with over the years slowly went from being one of the dominant teams to being a ok one finishing 7th or 8th. The year I was sacked they had more players than what they wanted. The coach had gotten the superstars from multiple teams so he could make a dream team. Like Snowball and Boxer I was betrayed and others stayed. My coach at the time was like Napoleon in the sense he wanted leadership and power as well as boosting their ego. They were both out for themselves trying to do what they wanted. While Napoleon got what he wanted with having the power that Mr. Jones had, My coach got what he wanted with making the soccer team Murry United adding this local area to a Melbourne league. They both had the sin of greed with wanting these. While they both had positives with Napoleon having a farm with a better production speed than they had with Mr. Jones, and my Coach getting a team that he hoped would win
Snowball is eventually forced out of the farm when Napoleon uses his guard dogs to attack Snowball. After that, he is blamed for issues of the farm, and it is claimed that he was in support of Mr. Jones at the beginning. Even though he fought for Mr. Jones and the shorts offends are distorted to wounds Napoleon perpetrated on him, those faulted of associating him are achieved after being required to profess, or declare, and a compensation is proposed for his capture.
Another example of Boxer’s strong personality in times of hardship is the night in which the executions of the animals that admitted to having been deceitful to their fellow comrades by taking Snowball’s side took place and Boxer stated that to overcome the faults amongst the farm’s animals, he was going to work harder.
Snowball:- He is a pig that is super pumped about the idea of rebelling and cheers for it. After Old Major, he also gives great inspiring speeches. He challenges Napoleon on how to rule the animal farm after rebelling against Mr.Jones. He is intelligent, passionate, and less subtle than Napoleon.
Napoleon Joseph Stalin Napoleon is the counterpart of Stalin due to the fact that he rules the Animal Farm and instigates revolution. Strict character able to manipulate the other animals of the farm. Snowball Leo Trotsky
‘Animal Farm’ is a novel based on the Russian Revolution, about a group of animals wanting to rebel against man. Snowball a smart, fair and strong leader gets ruled over by Napoleon, an unfair and selfish leader. This was the first error in the rebellion. Snowball would have defiantly made a better leader than Napoleon. The reasons for this are that he educated the animals, had future economic plans and knew how to keep a fair and smart community.
In my neighborhood there is not many kids there to play with that I know and there is only five and they are Austin, Julius, Cole, Mason, and Tyler including me. it was so fun it was like i was on a cruize when i played with them like during the winter we had a violent snowball fight it was like as violent as world war 2. And we also played football and we did not want it to be violent so we just played two and tap. Kickball was fun until i kicked it into the thorn bush and it popped, and went sledding too and i crashed because when we raced i hit the metal fence and flipped off my sled like i just got in a car crash.
He is hard-working, kind, and smart. Snowball helps the other animals improve their life such as intellectual, moral, and physical ways. He strives to forge relationships with the others. He is ambitious by being expressed through his many education. Snowball was a more vivacious pig than Napoleon, quicker in speech and more inventive. He believes in the happiness of his citizens, puts the Animals Farm first and tries to achieve everyone’s needs. He has great ideas to make all the animals admire him like the windmill plan. Snowball summarizes the seven commandments to “Four legs good, two legs bad” to help the others learn better. The windmill plan is really useful because it helps the animals don’t need to work hard. In the winter, they can use heater to warm, or working with the machine like humans. They will have more time to relax or studying what they haven’t known yet. Before Snowball was chased out the farm, he drew diagrams of the windmill that would help the animals so they would work less and have more time to relax. The contribution of Snowball mad Napoleon jealous. If Snowball was not chased out, the farm would be a better than the beginning and he would become a great
Because Boxer is the most powerful strength wise, and is an important asset on the farm. Napoleon is the main leader, and everyone follows him “but the other animals found more inspiration in Boxer’s strength and his never-failing cry of ‘I will work harder,’”(Orwell 74). Boxer was the workhorse who would stay up late to work on their projects and was the most demanding horse. When the animals were maintaining to the crops, Boxer was the one who would put the most effort in. The animals on the farm trusted Boxer because they all knew that he would be the one who will do his best and support them with anything. When Napoleon was accusing Snowball for being against the Animal Farm, Boxer stood up and told against it. Snowball was living at a different farm at the time and yet Boxer was still standing up for him as if he were at his side. Without Boxer, the farm would not have their work done on time and successful. There would be no one who would be confident to stand up
In the novel, Animal Farm, George Orwell portrays Snowball as a more imaginative and inventive character. Napoleon was a poor leader and he didn't treat the animals on the farm fairly. Before Napoleon chased Snowball off the farm, Snowball co-operates with Napoleon and Squealer to organize Old Majors ideas into the principles of Animalism, and to reduce these to the Seven Commandments. It is Snowball who organizes the various Animal Committees and the classes in reading and writing, therefore showing interest in the other animals. Snowball also anticipates the first attack on Animal Farm and, having studied up on strategy. Snowball would have been a better leader than Napoleon and would have improved the lives of the animals on Animal Farm.
Boxer can both be considered a hero and a victim in the story of animal farm. Yet I consider him to be the hardest worker and the most important hero with the most pride and dignity. Boxer had a very determined and positive working mindset and conjecture in the farm, he is shown as the farm’s most dedicated and loyal labourer. Boxer is considered as the most important and responsible icon for the russian class who helped to initiate the Soviet Union. However, they were eventually betrayed. Boxer then steps up and takes cover for the animals. Boxer continuously shows heroic spirit. Boxer compensates for each new problem by working extra 6 hours (Orwell, P. 51). This all shows who boxer really was in Animal Farm. the main hero with the most heroic
I started playing soccer when I was in first grade, I spent all my time after school playing soccer with my siblings. I played for four different teams, the first team I played for was the East Pennsboro rec team. This team was a really low level team but we still played really well. The second team I played for was called Fusion F.C. which was a pretty bad team because we didn’t communicate while we played on the field. The third team I played for was also a Fusion team but it was a higher level team. The last team I played on before I quit was HMMS. I stopped playing after this team because they were all rude and never communicated with one another. So I stopped playing soccer and decided to try something new.
Snowball’s knowledge on war led us to a victorious ending in the Battle of Cowshed. When asked on his opinion on the battle he stated, “I am proud of those who stood together during the battle, all all of us worked well in defeating those two-legged, hell raising humans. Now for those who became cowards during this time of battle, you should be dishonored. I am not proud of you at all. We should never show fear, cowardliness, sentimentality or anything of that matter. I am not proud of the cowards.” Snowball definitely gave us a very good insight on what is expected of us animals here on Animal Farm. That was a few of the accounts made by animals involved in the Battle of Cowshed here on Animal Farm. We here at the Animal Farm Tribune wish the best for those who are dealing with the trauma and grief of those lost in the
“He ordered the hens’ rations to be stopped and decreed that any animal giving so much grain of corn to a hen should be punished by death” (Orwell 87). This quote demonstrates that Napoleon treats the hens with cruelty because his commands are not being followed which was to surrender their eggs to him so he can trade with his neighbors. He not only treats the hens with cruelty but is also cruel to the other animals who feed the hens. On the contrary, Snowball treats the animals with respect and care because he is pursuing the Seven Commandments made by Old Major. He is doing what is best for all animals and is treating them equally. “He formed the Egg Production Committee for the hens, the Clean Tails League for the cows, the Wild Comrades’ Re-education Committee (the object of this was to tame the rats and rabbits), the Whiter Wool Movement for the sheep, and various others, beside instituting classes in reading and writing” (Orwell 49). This quote illustrates that Snowball is doing what is best for all animals by giving them a little hope for the future. He not only does it for one animal but for all the animals in the farm. Though they have differences in treating the animals they also have one comparison. They both want to be in charge of the other animals. When Old Major left the two of them in charge they wanted to control the animals by their own ideas by planning of what happens
Snowball’s strengths: Snowball’s strengths include his intelligence and his want for social improvement for the animals of Animal Farm. Snowball’s intelligence has had a very positive effect on Animal Farm. For example, It was Snowball who had the original idea of building a windmill so everyone could work less and live more comfortably and luxuriously on the farm. He also understood that the sheep could not read the Seven Commandments so he shortened them into the phrase “Four legs good, two legs bad” so they could comprehend the commandments much more easily. During the Battle of the Cowshed Snowball used his intelligence and strategic plans made by Julius Caesar to defend Animal Farm. Snowballs intelligence could help Animal Farm find a solution to any problem that the farm may face. Along with his intelligent nature, Snowball also has a desire for the social improvement of all animals. Snowball created animal committees in an attempt to improve the manner and quality of the animals lives. He created the Egg Production Committee, the Clean Tails League, the Wild Comrades Re-education committee, The Whiter Wool movement and implemented literacy classes. Although most of these committees had not seen very much success, Snowball had still managed to teach most of the animals the basics of reading and writing. This care for social improvement could benefits Animal Farm future.
There are many leaders in the book, Animal Farm, by George Orwell, but Snowball is by far the best leader because he has the strongest and most diverse leadership qualities. Snowball, the “vivacious pig” who is “quicker in speech and more inventive” than the other animals of Animal Farm, possesses many qualities required to be a good leader, but his take-charge attitude and his wise nature are by far the strongest qualities he acquires (Orwell 35). One example of Snowball being a direct pig is when he takes charge of the animals to get them going on work when he says: “Comrades, it is half-past six and we have a long day before us. Today we must begin the hay harvest” (Orwell 42). This shows that Snowball was the one to lead the animals to work by directing them what to
