Monday , December the thirtieth This morning we went outside to go take a walk , since we lived in Alaska we had to get warm clothes on since in these days in Alaska it mostly snows a lot the terrible part of today was that we got lost in a snow storm lincoln, Lynn and I couldn't find a place to stay either. We tried to stay warm by giving body warmth to each other , until someone came by and decided to help us get out of the terrible storm , when we finally got out we told Aaron, the guy that got us out of the storm ,where we lives so he'd take us home, we decided to take a warm shower and drink hot cocoa when we went back home, when we finished doing all of those things we put on our pajamas then we went to sleep. The next day Tuesday
If I was trapped in a snow globe I would play in the snow. I would try to make the best of it. Then, I would try to figure out how to get out. I would bang on the glass. Maybe if I scream the glass would break. No, that wouldn't work I can't scream loud enough. But, if I dig alot I might find a way. Seven hours later……. There is no use. I’m kinda getting hungry and I don't see any food. As I’m trying to get out I see this huge person picks up the globe and starts shaking. I hold onto the tree for dear life while he is shaking the globe. Finally he puts it down. That's the story of when I got stuck in a snow
industrializing helped the northern states create a great extent of wealth , they developed a exceptional infrastructure of roads, canals, and railroad that moved goods and people east and west. Each consecutive influx of immigrants would tend to find work and move to settle the west, leaving a job for the next immigrant. The west demanded goods and the services of modern society as they were settling in which lead to increased demands for manufactured
POW! At what seems like 100 miles per hour it hits you! The cold snow running down your back, chills form on your arm. Then, another one! Quickly you dodge it, then grab your own and send it flying back. Wow, you think, snowball fights are extreme. This snowball fight was the best I ever had. We were throwing snowballs across the street, hitting houses and laughing as we do so.
A couple days ago the black blizzard started. A lot of people died from dust pneumonia and cattle die from to much dust. Now we are boarding up the house because dust is getting in. My Mom said we might move to california if something happens here. I hope we don't this is my home but i'd rather go to california than die here. We are always wearing wet cloths around our mouths and our noses so that way no dust can get inside of our mouths or nose.
I never thought I could find a feeling worst than the freezing temperatures inside an airplane, but the terrifying feeling of realizing you forgot something is 10 times worse. There is no other feeling than realizing you had forgotten one of the most important things need for your adventures.

Since I watched the movie twister and learned about the Joplin tornado. Since then I always wanted to be a storm chaser. I have been fascinated by tornadoes since then. I want to be a storm chaser because I am fascinated how storm chasers spot supercells, also being a storm chaser is my passion, and I am fascinated by tornadoes also.
On a Tuesday night of my sophomore year, two weeks before the state tournament, we played Heritage Hills. On the mound, battling for every out, I attempted to keep the game tied. The count was two and one with two outs in the bottom of the fourth. I stepped up, wound up, and pitched the ball for the fiftieth time. Except this time the ball came flying right back towards me.
The smell of popcorn filled the spring air. I was running as fast as I could, there was no stopping me. The pitcher threw the baseball to second base as I started to race to home base. Voices of cheering and screaming of excitement filled my ears, motivating me to run faster. I stared at the catcher with confidence in my eyes, seeing his glove in the air, ready to catch the ball. He was too late, my foot touched the bag before it reached his glove. My best friend Olivia on the team ran over to me and gave me a hard high five. The rest of my team tackled me with joy. Olivia and I are the only girls on the team yet we are some of the best players they have. As we said good game to the other team, a feeling of being watched struck me. I turned my head to see a
It was a bitter cold sleeting Texas day in February when we laced up our spikes and hit the diamond to continue our school tradition. It was our senior year and basketball season had just ended two days before. Cody and I were the three and four hitters in the lineup and it still felt like we were in our sleeveless jerseys. Third pitch of my at bat I get hit by a pitch in the back. I told my first base coach "what a wonderful way to start off the season in 30-degree weather." and he then laughed. Cody came up to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a grand slam on the first pitch he saw. We won our first game of the season and we all knew that it would be a special one, but for Cody and I it would be different from all the rest of our teammates all thanks to one coach.
They played some other ones too I think, but the concert started at 10:30 pm because it was the Snow Show, so I don't remember some. The most surprising thing to me was that Brendon's voice when he talks in real life is way lower than I expected, but they had fun and we had fun. By we I mean my Dad (who dances like a bird) because he wanted to see the band before them (Atlas Genius), so he stayed for Panic! and I also really didn't have anyone to go with because the people I would want to go with enjoy more mainstream music like One Direction.
Different from most modern bureaucrats, these political appointees and their subordinates acquire their positions through elections or answer directly to elected officials. In the view of the public, they are responsible for the operations of the bureaucracies that make up their respective branches. They are expected to set general policy and directions and provide leadership in order to manage government agencies and programs. In order to achieve these expectations they need some degree of influence, if not control, over bureaucratic agencies that may not be the main concern in the political success of failure of the executive. Deliberate strategies and influence is necessary in dealing with administrative agencies, if they want to succeed in leading administrative behavior toward satisfaction of their policy objectives. They are also dependent on bureaucracy for policy development due to the diversity of information sources within the executive staffs, and those used outside the government.
Beep! Beep! Beep! I wake up to an alarm screaming in my ear. I smack the alarm to shut the yelling off. It was a January day, in the middle of the cold, brutal winter. I finally got up after sitting in bed for what felt like hours, and looked outside like I do every morning. I noticed that there was no sign of grass to be seen. All that could be seen was white, frozen blanket of thick snow. I started to get ready for the school day and I just prayed that school was going to be canceled. As soon as I was fully ready I stepped outside and my food sunk down a foot and a half below the snow! I could not believe it that school was still open. As soon as I got to my car that was completely covered in snow, my mother comes out and yells that school was closed. I felt a huge wave as release and I ran back inside and went right back to sleep.
Peaceful resistance to laws negatively impacts free society. Although the government does not always make decisions that we like, the laws are there to protect us and keep us in order. As much as we would hate to admit it, without laws here to keep us iin check this country would turn to chaos. Speed limits are here to make sure that we drive safe. When people break the speed limits they are more likely to have a wreck or hurt someone.
It was a normal winter morning. I woke up freezing my butt off. The night before we
