I will be creating a law stating that smoking should be banned from all public places. I am creating this law because I think it's important that people feel free to go out in the community without having to worry about breathing in secondhand smoke. By enforcing this law it will also encourage people to stop smoking since they will no longer be able to smoke public places. By doing this, it will increase business for all the restaurants and bars that used to allow smoking. People will be more likely to go there now because they will know longer have to breathe in secondhand smoke. The article “To regulate or not to regulate? Views on electronic cigarette regulations and beliefs about the reasons for and against regulations” brought forward on the regulation of vapes and electronic cigarettes. This article shows studies that were taken through online polling of adults from Amazon mechanical Turk. The polls took place in May of 2015. Overall the article is about whether to or not to regulate electronic cigarettes or vapes. As most people disagreed with most of the reasons to not regulate the vapes, most did agree with one idea that should be implied if the regulation of vapes and e-cigs “electronic cigarettes” continued. That was if they continued to be regulated then a label warning exclaiming that the products contain nicotine should be added to all devices and products that go along with it.
Propaganda: a tool used to shape citizen thinking for the use of governmental goals in occasions worldwide. Many countries use propaganda for the support of its citizens in certain purposes. During Word War II, the United States needed the support of the American citizens for the purchasing of war bonds, acquiring the volunteer work of women, and also the conservation of the country’s natural resources. Therefore, the main purpose of propaganda is to persuade citizens of that country to support the decisions of the government.
In our generation smoking still exists even though there are some people who quit smoking and there are some still smoke in ages, however the only problem in our society, people who smoke around youngsters called as well as secondhand smoking is a detective around children and adults. It is important that secondhand smoke shouldn’t be smoking around their own children or underage due to health. New Jersey has to continue the prohibition of smoking in public access restaurants, bars, parks, and clubs. Nonsmokers can consume second hand smoke which is dangerous. The risk of smoking in a building can result in a fire and lead to traumatic events. The smell of smoke can deter people from coming in. Smoking bans are very important to preserve intact, so we don’t have these risks to society and businesses. For a long time people have had different views about smoking in public places. Smokers feel it is their right to smoke where and when they want, and nonsmokers feel like their rights are getting violated.
The experiment that is to see if financial incentives was offered in smoking cessation programs will it result in higher rate of smoking cessation.

In November of 2006 Ohio put a ban on smoking cigarettes in all public places. The ban was put in place to protect people from the effects of second hand smoke. Some of these effects include, heart disease, cancer and other dangerous diseases. Ohio was the first tobacco growing state that implemented this kind of ban. According to the Ohio Department of Health's website, about 280,000 public places and places of employment were affected by this ban and no longer would they be exposed to second hand smoke.

Spending money on smoking is too much and leads to nothing, and there are no benefits that people can get from smoking. Smoking can hit personal finances and smokers are burning their money for no reason. Instead of using money to get cigarettes, people can donate to non-government organizations to wipe out poverty and change people’s lives. Smoking is a major factor that is destroying the environment. Smoking cigarettes is bad for the air. People who do not smoke have to breathe the bad air around the smokers. Smoking needs to be banned in public to let other people breathe the fresh air. Most Americans are exposed to outdoor and indoor air that can cause cancer and other serious health problems. Smoking is a serious problem that needs to be taken care of. If we want a strong environment, clean environment, and a good public health, we need to ban smoking once and for all.
