“The Blind Side”, directed by John Lee Hancock, shows how Michael Oher, a poor black African-American boy, struggles through his obstacles of loneliness and discrimination, until he meets the Touhy Family, who overall changed his well-being. When he recorded Michael whilst he was playing his football match, he was satisfied with it, so SJ converted the recording into a CD to distribute to coaches from different schools around their city. The coaches were very pleased with Michael’s performance, hence he was being flooded by many interviews from coaches from different schools. At this point of the film, SJ helped Michael to be successful for his education, and he also helped him decide from which school to choose from. This scene shows how SJ helped Michael in his career of being an outstanding football player, and how he helped him decide for his education as well. This point is also being shown by a Dialogue of Michael talking with SJ and the coaches about the scholarships, showing that SJ is helping him decide what to choose, a two shot of both of them sitting together, also showing that both of them are deciding where Michael will go next, and SJ tracking and recording Michael when he’s playing in the football match, showing that he was keeping in track of him and might be expecting something amazing will happen to Michael.
