With great power comes great responsibility” Ben the uncle of Spider-man. Human beings with heroic abilities are influential to most children. Superheroes must be very careful with their actions in order to give children a good impact. For example, children always wear capes in their homes and act like superheroes attacking villains that’s why superheroes has a significant impact on children. Most children have their favorite superhero depending on how each hero surfs justice through his way. Whereas Batman and Iron man share numerous similarities, the differences in regards to income, suits, and creators warrant further analysis.

There are two famous publishers in the comic book world where it all began. Marvel entertainment is one of the major publishers in the superhero world. Timely comics founded marvel entertainment in 1939 in the United States of America. By now we should all know the two leading Industries in superhero comics, graphic novels and blockbusters,Marvel and DC. and although both companies are great in their own ways, comic fans everywhere love to debate about which side is better. on one side fans argue DC is better because They were the original superhero company, that gave birth to some of the most iconic superheroes today, such as Batman,Superman, Wonder Woman and the Flash. But I say that Marvel is better because I believe superhero should be human to a certain degree In order for us, the readers/viewers to relate, they should just be normal people with exceptional powers and a moral compass. they should have basic human wants and needs and inner strengths and weaknesses
Ironman and Batman both fight Ironman is a Much a hero but Batman is a dark hero. If you were to compare Tony Stark to Bruce Wayne again, they are similar in the way that they are both billionaire geniuses who use their money to fight crime. Their background stories are a little different, because of Bruce’s tragic upbringing after his parents were murdered. There are many comic book characters who become the hero they are because of a tragedy, like Spider Man and the death of Uncle Ben. Some heroes are a little different such as the Green Lanterns, they usually don’t have this devastating past; they are given a ring if they are found worthy, or Thor, who was born a God.
In this dissertation I will discuss how DC Comics have developed and improved the design of their comic books since their establishment in 1937. I will compare comics from past and present and talk about the different styles of comic books that have been released from the company. I will also talk about how the artwork from the comic books have influenced character and costume design in recent DC Comic films. I will do this by studying the history of the company and researching the designers behind the comic books. I will thoroughly research in detail the characters and the designs of their costume and equipment and compare them to the different films that have been released over the years. The main character I will look into is Batman. I will study the origins of the character, the man behind the character, the reason behind Batman’s creation, how he has changed over the years, the development of other characters in the series, the famous villains that Batman has had to face, the different costumes he has had over the years and I will also be researching and studying how Batman has become a national icon in American society, and the effects the character has had on people living in the country. Batman
Marvel vs. DC comics is a battle that began in the early 90’s and has never ceased since. Both gaining an abundant amount of recognition from fans worldwide. From little toddlers to fully grown adults, the numbers continue to spread like wildfire. However, what are the major similarities and differences between both comics? The similarity is that, both incorporated all heroes in one setting, attempted to focus on different genres that disregarded superheroes, and started developing heroes again by adding more personal issues to the comics. For differences, Marvel was set on real world locations while those in DC were more fictional and Marvel heroes developed powers overtime while those in DC were originally born with abilities. These reasoning’s stated above, depict crucial differences between both companies while also providing their similarities which fuse them together.
This source discusses relation between crime and justice in two of most popular superheroes Batman and Superman. The article talks about the different societies and environments that the superheroes reside in. Batman belonging to a large crime invested Gotham city and Superman residing in New York City after coming to earth after his home planet was destroyed. This article also is quick to point out these two characters were brought about
Batman and Superman are poles apart, but, when it comes to certain aspects of their lives, they can be found to be similar. Both Batman and Superman are extremely popular comic book superheroes who have had multiple television shows and movies made about them. Batman and Superman show up at similar times in the comic book world and are published in the same comic book brand: DC Comics. Moreover, they both have superhero costumes and despite the color themes, the costumes follow the pattern of having their logo on their chest followed with a cape in the back. They are also alike in terms of their secret identities. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne and Superman is actually Clark Kent and they both live normal lives when they are not out saving them. Both of these characters have childhoods where both men did not know their parents very well because their parents died when they were young, making both of them orphans. When they start
Through my analyzation of these values, I have assessed the relevance of superheroes in cinema through the impact of American popular culture, the contrast of gender roles, and their impact on children. As a result, society should be gracious toward the immense popularity of superhero films, as they bolster American popular culture and positively impact children from a young age. Although the gender roles might be a bit skewed, many film companies are taking steps to include women in more empowering roles such as Wonder Woman in the DC cinematic universe. Therefore, superheroes in cinema tend to only create and preserve positive characteristics within society, which is glorious in the future of mankind. In closing, I end with the question, “Which superhero best depicts
Through Civil War, there exist a lot of differences between the world of government and superheroes. Many talented super heroes outdistanced the laws and were not under the control of the government. In order to let the superheroes work for the government and to control their power, the powerful government enacts the Superheroes Registration Act. This act divides the Avengers in to two sides; one is Iron Man, who stands on the government’s side, and the other one is Captain America, who supports freedom and the common people. This war not only represents Iron Man and Captain America, or even other Avengers’ freedom, but also represents many social problems and relationships in society today. These questions lead me to think of one question:
Although they are both comics, the sources of the powers are entirely different for both book publishers. An origin story is very essential to any superheroes’ journey. In DC, they are
Marvel and DC Comics are both big companies that have brought stories and great superheros for us to read about in comics or in movies. They both have their differences in the way they explain their stories and how their characters live as well as where they are located like for example Marvel’s super heroes are created by accident or by chemical disaster such as iron man he was a rich man that made weapons and built a suit to make him able to fly and be bullet proof or Captain America he was a young weak man that was rejected by the army that was given a chance to be in the army and serve his country he was put on tests to be a great new type of weapon he was made really strong with great abilities and was able to save America. DC heroes
1938 saw the first appearance of Batman. More of a mystery comic than a superhero comic book, Batman was inherently different from the pure and clean Superman. He was a gritty and depressing character that has been able to remain in print even to this day. Rather than using superpowers, Batman uses detective abilities that allowed him to solve cases and find perpetrators. (“The History of Comic Books.” TheComicBooks.com.) But not even Batman, Superman, or even Captain Marvel could brace themselves for the arrival of the Marvel comics.
People always have debates about whether Marvel Or DC is a better and who has the better superheroes. Both comic book companies have had great superheroes, and some are better than others. The Flash and Quicksilver both have similarities but they also have many differences. A lot of factors go into deciding what makes a superhero better than another, including things like their origin story, their powers, and their villains.
Ever since the 1930s Marvel and DC Comics have battled out from the pages of comic books to the big screen in order to prove their dominance. From movies like the Avengers and the Dark Knight Trilogy, both are the unstoppable force of comic book creation, however, each company is different in their own respectful ways, Marvel has shown to be the far superior company over DC
The main factor that tells me that Superman is a better Superhero is that fact that he actually has powers whereas Batman has to rely on money. Superman has many powers such as: Extreme strength, invulnerability, heat and x-ray vision, super breath, and flight. Batman on the other hand, has no powers and without his billionaire status, would
