There are many religions in the world, some new and old, some well-known and some less known. Many religions unique in different ways, from worshipping one god to many gods. Hinduism and Judaism are big religions in the world with a large amount of believers. They are both older religions that involve wrapping their family and lives in their beliefs. Unique and beautiful both involving rituals, traditions, and festivals.

In Hinduism there are many gods, deities or beliefs. Hindus don’t worship or believe in just one god or deities, they can worship many at a time. They worship Brahma, the Creator; Vishnu, the Preserver and Shiva, the Destroyer. These are their main gods of worship but not only these gods, they also worship deities. Rama, Krishna, and Kali are considered as one of the most popular deities in Hinduism. There are plenty more deities or gods, and each have an interesting and beautiful meaning or significance. Many Hindus worship many gods or deities and don’t see anything wrong with it, because they believe that there are "many paths to moksha" that is liberation. Hinduism might be one of the few religions, if not the only religion, that worship more than one god. Judaism on the other hand, worship or believe in only one god. The Jews god only want them to worship him, he is a jealous god. Their god chose them has his people, nation and his children. He saw something in them, that he didn’t see in any other nation. As we read above, he saved, supplied, protected them in many occasions and yet his "children" failed him time and time again. While he was disappointed, he never gave up on them, but he did want something in return. In return he wanted a close relationship with each and everyone of them. He wanted them to obey him and also get to know who he was. He also states many times, that he wants them to only worship him, no other gods. Both of these religions began in the Near East continents where polytheism was the norm (Hutchinson, 2016b). Judaism was established in Israel and Hinduism was established in India. “Polytheism is the belief in and worship of many gods, who are associated with different aspects of the natural world, places, powers, or characteristics” (Hutchinson, 2016a, p.1). The leaders of these religions varied in their successes of leading the people and building the kingdoms and religions.

One of the largest, and oldest religion in the world is Hinduism. There are many Gods and many divinities in Hinduism. It's hard to define is it one religion or more religions, because of so many beliefs. The main focus of Hindus is on their life, reincarnation, and karma. Hindus believe that after death you start a new life in a new body, and it depends on how was your life before death. However, they have lower and upper life. If they lived a good life, they will be in upper life, which is closer to one of their biggest Gods Braham. On the other hand, if they weren't so good in their life they will be placed in lower life wich is more distant from Braham. They all want to be as close to Braham as they can, so that's why they are all trying
Even though followers of Hinduism have many gods in their religion they usually have a personal God which they support the most and worship more than the others. Judaism has been around for over 3,000 years and they believe in one god. Some of the people broke off from Judaism and became their own religion that formed the modern day Christianity and Islam religions. They both believe in worshiping only one god. Buddhism is a 2,500 year old religion and Buddhists do not believe in a personal god, but they follow the path of Buddha seeking to reach a state of enlightenment. Hinduism is a 3,500 year old religion and Hinduism followers believe in many gods such as, Brahma, Saraswati, Lakshmi, Vishnu, Shiva, Durga and Ardhanarishvara.

Both Hinduism and Islam have unique practices and traditions, which can vary depending on the town, region or people. They share a common belief in a supreme god, that being either Brahma or Allah respectively.
