“Walt wanted to create an amusement park in which his cartoon characters could come to life and interact with the visitors.” A place where both parent and child could have fun. So in 1955 Walt purchased 160 acres of land in California and began the $17-million-dollar project to construct Disneyland. His vision of how he wanted to construct Disneyland was unpretentious. He wanted the entrance to embody a euphoric restoration of the conventional American main street. The goal was that people would walk down “Main Street, USA” and want to discover more by going to the other 4 different “dream lands,” he had creted: Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland. Fantasyland was created to be more child orientated, where all of Disney’s

I highly recommend dinner at Louis’ Restaurant. It is a small diner that sits atop the hill of Sutro Baths. It offers a spectacular view of the waves coming in from the West. The menu is complete with affordable, classic American food, and also includes beer and wine. Louis’ is one of few non-pretentious dinging spots in the city and has a very pretty laid-back
Many people chose not to believe the reality behind Soviet communism and all of the terrible things that were happening in Russia when Joseph Stalin was in control. In the Preface of Animal Farm, Russell Baker stated that “Orwell was that political figure that all politicians feared” (Baker, ix) and that “he insisted on the truth even when the truth was most inconvenient” (Baker, ix). Russell Baker’s assertion is proven to be true in multiple spots throughout the book. Some events that happen in George Orwell’s book, prove certain truths to be factual because they are based off of things that actually happened with Soviet Communism. By proving these to be true, politicians fear him because he makes people open their eyes to truths about the world they would rather be blind to instead.
Women in the ancient world did not have the rights or status as we do today. They were looked upon as possessions or property. For a woman to be strong or be allowed to hold a position of power was something that was unheard of. Medea and Dido were two very strong and powerful women, however each lived in slightly different cultures. Their choices in how they chose to wield their power gives us a small insight on the differences in cultural lifestyles between the two women and the worlds they lived in.

Second of all is that disneyland has got hotels. My first example is that if you’re out of town and need a place to stay you can just stay at the hotels that disneyland has. Secondly is if you're tired of your home and want to stay somewhere else, then you could go to a hotel at disneyland. Last of all the hotels got nice rooms. That’s why we need a disneyland in Wapello.
Disneyland was one of the first amusement parks ever to even charge an entry fee. When Disney land opened in 1955 single main entrance were free to enter with visitors purchasing tickets for each ride but Disneyland changed all that. Walt knew that an entry fee was necessary to keep out troublemakers and keep Disneyland from becoming free babysitting like many local parks were. Disneyland joint both systems, charging $1.00 for entry then selling ticket booklets for $2.25. Those ticket booklets contained eight rides including ‘A’ tickets were the cheap rides, the rides that no one really wanted to ride on, ‘B’ tickets were a little bit better all way up to the top of the line the ‘E’ tickets.

For those of us who have been to Disneyland or been in the area, have dealt with the traffic and the numerous amount of people roaming the streets. This issue has been affecting the city of Anaheim for many years and now it 's reaching a boiling point.
