1.a The Three Sisters is a unique landform with an Aboriginal relationship to the land. These three large rocks stand tall over the Jamison Valley near New South Wales, Katoomba, with the largest at (922m). The Three Sisters were formed by land erosion, which has slowly eroded over time from natural weather like rain, wind and rivers. The Three Sisters is believed to be disintegrated in the future due to erosion and wet surroundings. The native plants of the blue mountains have adapted to the unique climate and particular geology.
The movie I chose for my Sociological movie analysis was “Step Brothers”. The main plot line of the movie was about two families; one with a mother named Nancy at about retirement age with a thirty-nine-year-old son named Brennan who had never left home and hadn’t had many jobs, and the other family was a father named Robert of about the same age with a forty-year-old son named Dale who attended college until his junior year, but then dropped out moving back in with his dad having occasional jobs as well. Nancy attended a conference where Robert gave a speech which caused them to meet, fall in love, and get married. Nancy and Brennan moved into Robert’s home where Brennan and Dale do not “connect” and cause lots of problems. Eventually, they

This happened about 5-6 times. RP stated that there was another child in care who told RP that Jose did the same thing to her. When both girls told licensee what happened, licensee became anger and called RP's parents to remove
Erma must have been an uncaring, bad mother to Rex which caused him to leave Welch. Also, Erma helps uncover the theme of siblings and family dynamics. Throughout the memoir, the Walls children stand up and protect one another, but when Erma makes a move on Brian while “mending” his pants, it is then when we see Lori truly stand up for Brian, and the goodwill of her sister, too. Jeannette catches Erma and screams for her to stop, which causes Erma to almost slap her. Luckily, Lori catches Erma’s hand before impact, but Erma removes her hand and Lori basically takes the slap for Jeannette. Lori, infuriated by Erma, throws a blow to her jaw that isn’t just pure rage, but a bubbling anger she feels for the mistreatment of not only Brian, but all

Many factors can affect the effectiveness of relational maintenance within sibling relationships, such as effort to maintain relationships, age of siblings, and how related they are among other things. In romantic relationships, individuals may experience a higher level of satisfaction within a relationship if their partners’ use of relational maintenance tactics compares favorably to their own (Dainton, 2000). It is possible for this to also be the case for adult sibling relationships since these would be life-long relationships that one would be born into instead of relationships one would form by choice and at any point of their lives. However, those involved in romantic relationships may not experience a greater level of relational satisfaction from relational maintenance the longer there are involved in a relationship. Whether or not this is also the case for adult siblings is an interesting question as there are a variety of factors that can positively or negatively affect their relationships over the course of time. These would include involvement with each other’s families, geographic distance, and continued involvement with parents among other factors. The current amount of relational satisfaction between adult siblings can be compared to that of when they were children; and can also be compared between adult siblings at different stages of their adult life.
This family is seeking therapy assistance due to the following reasons: grief and loss encountered during Kate’s cancerous condition and after her death, the lawsuit Anna placed onto her parents, Jesse’s delinquent behavior, and the parents’ deteriorating relationship. The family is concerned with the alliances that have been building within the family and in regards to their negative communication skills. The Fitzgerald family feels that the family is becoming dysfunctional and distant. Having a positive attachment amongst each other at all times assists with minimizing issues, and it is much easier to find solutions to any problems or challenges when positive relationships emerge (Cassidy and Shaver, 2008, p. 200). This is why the Fitzgerald family is seeking help now.
If someone were to ever tell my younger self that I would one day be one of five siblings, I would have never believed them. Unquestionably, my siblings are an enormous part of who I am; aspiring me to become an intelligent and an affectionate human being. Life doesn't always hurl obstacles in your way, but when it does, it can turn out to be completely disparate and even fascinating from the original thought. At the ripe old age of eleven years old, I was expected to step up to the plate and take care of my new adopted siblings, David and Alysa. Countless responsibilities, circumstances, and a world of authority and gratitude have shaped me along the way due to that one event. Indeed, I am grateful that my parents went through with the adoption because even though I had an impact on my adopted siblings, they have propelled me to become an exceptional brother, son, friend, and student.
The older children more or less tell the younger children what to do but they will often limit communication of issues among same sex siblings and if this is unsuccessful they will then involve siblings of the opposite sex before they will go to their parents. Although the children will go straight to their parents will go straight to their parents on more sensitive issues.
The family unit across the globe is valued by almost all cultures as the most important social structure in which humans form the tightest bonds. Now significant evidence to suggest that within the family structure the relationship and interaction between siblings is the most impactful relationship of a human’s lifetime. Researchers have only recently become interested in the unique relationship between siblings. Siblings have been found to advance one another’s social, emotional, and cognitive development (Mcguire and Shanahan, 2010). Researchers are now are posing the question, “Are our relationships with our siblings the most important of all?”
