The Second Amendment was adopted in 1791 but over the years it is not suitable for the modern society. Big things have changed over the years since the Constitution was written, consequently, its contents do not reflect the necessary changes for the benefit of all citizens. Violence is out of control and many people are killed by guns each year. The second amendment needs to be changed because we need to ban guns and make our society safer.

Pay special attention to signage as many federal agencies have issued regulations banning gun possession anywhere on agency property, not just in buildings, but even in public parking lots. These are valid prohibitions and have criminal penalties.
In the United States, many people find joy in the second amendment which grants them the right to bear arms. This is an amendment which allows individuals to legally own firearms of their choosing with little exceptions. Some particular weapons may require more tedious process to obtain such as fully automatic weapons. Obtaining a firearm in the United States tends to be a fairly easy process. Although there are some states who have different requirements for those wishing to purchase weapons and also what weapons citizens may have.
A firearm bill of sale is a legitimate document which memorializes the sale of a gun, rifle, shotgun between two parties- the purchaser and the seller. Firearm bill transfer allows a person to transfer any given assault weapon from one individual to another. This document is mainly used in the US and so far there are no such permits required in the state to buy a weapon. But still, there are some laws according to which all the individuals have to carry a concealed carry permit to handle guns within the country.
Title 23-Law Enforcement and Public Safety, Chapter 31, Article 1, Section 23-31-220 covers the “right to allow or permit concealed weapons upon premises” to include weapons in the workplace. The act gives the owners/employers the right to determine whether or not legally concealed weapons can be brought on the premise to include vehicles. The law also provides the owner/employer the right to post notice “No Concealable Weapons Allowed” to be allowed on the premises. If a person violates this act they may punished by law for being in violation of Section 16-11-620. Additionally Section 23-31-225 states that “No person who holds a permit pursuant to Article 4, chapter 31, Title 23 may carry a concealed weapon into the residence of dwelling place
Concealed weapon laws Gun laws today have changed since the 2nd amendment was created and have become stricter, making it harder to own a gun. Gun laws are decided by the states and not all states have the same law, so I’ll go over the different laws. Most states/territories have the Shall Issue law. Shall Issue means that a law-abiding person shall be granted a permit to carry concealed firearms. Some states have a No Permit Required law.
Each state gets to determine if they will allow concealed weapons. If the state does permit concealed carry then people have to go through a long process before they can receive their concealed weapons permit. A person must first fill out the application, then "State police post the names to a private website for local law enforcement agencies to review and object to if police feel there
The second amendment was created during the American Revolution and is not needed in modern times. To quote Roland Vincent, a head author for the Greenville Post, “When the Constitution was ratified these firearms were muskets; today they
We need to keep the second amendment the same and not change one thing to it. If we didn’t have the guns then we can’t defend ourselves. People want to change the amendment to where we can’t buy guns as easy, and they want to try changing it to where we got to have license to own one. If we keep the amendment the same then we can protect ourselves from any danger: “The first is that the amendment was meant to ensure that individuals have the absolute right to own firearms” (Mount, 2011). This means that we should have it to where we have the right to own guns and to keep it easier to buying and shooting them. Another reason, the military has guns, and they need them to fight: “The second is that the amendment was meant to ensure that States
Imagine you're sleeping at night and then suddenly, you wake up. You walk in into your kitchen and grab a glass of water and hear a noise, you realize there is someone in your house. What's your first action, what are you going to do? Our second amendment protects us in this situation. The problem solver to this situation is to get a gun and maybe use it in defense for your safety and others. Our Second Amendment gives us a right to guns and to use them for defense in order for our safety. The Second Amendment has been around for a very long time. “It seems a throwback to those earlier days of the Wild West, when many men, far from the law and order provided by the town sheriff and circuit judge, had to protect their
The Second Amendment is making headlines these days. The Second Amendment states, A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. This Amendment was ratified in December of 1791. This amendment was proposed by James Madison, after the constitution was ratified. “James Madison originally proposed the Second Amendment shortly after the Constitution was officially ratified as a way to provide more power to state militias…” (Brooks, The Second Amendment and the Right to Bear Arms) The latest court case on the Second Amendment is the Peruta v. California “case”. But that was turned down the case. The Second Amendment is important because it provides self defense, enables U.S. citizens to hunt for food, and it allows for citizens of states in the U.S. to form militias.
The first reason that we need the second amendment is that it allows us to protect ourselves and others. The CDC said that on an average day, 93 people are killed by guns(Gun Violence by the Numbers). This information shows that a lot of people die each day from guns, that is many families and friends suffering from the loss of their loved one/ones. One example of someone protecting themselves with a gun was told by The Washington Times. It tells about a story of a woman protecting herself and her baby by defending herself with a gun against two men breaking into her mobile home. She shot one man and killed him and scared off the other(11 Times a Good Guy with a Gun Stopped a Bad Guy, Saving Lives). If the women did not take action, she would not be here today, as well as her baby. Another reason is
Everyone without a criminal record has the right to bear arms, as well as to carry concealed weapons. People should be able to bear arms anywhere, whether it is in an elementary school, a restaurant, or the mall. Since the beginning of 2015 there have been 294 mass shooting (4 or more are shot) and of that number 45 of them are mass murders (four or more are killed). Two
You need a NFA stamp, via trust in order to obtain suppressors, machine guns, and destructive devices. The NFA is also the governing law that states what weapons are classified as, and who may possess them. I always hear about NFA trusts when I'm around Army buddies. It seems as if everyone knows something different, or have conflicting information. Quite frankly, I do not understand the process (or how it is done). It is also required of gunsmiths, and dealers to keep strict, up-to-date records of firearms acquired, and disposed of. This of course, excludes relics, and antiques. Keeping a log book is a critical dynamic of this field of work. I know how the government can be with issues, and they will usually try to screw the little guys
