General Patrick finally took notice of the trident on the uniforms of all of the men sitting at the table, not to mention the tape on the uniforms that read ‘US Navy’. “How the hell….” General Patrick said out loud. “That’s part of what I was trying to find out as you walked up, sir.” Colonel Flat told him, they said they jumped in last night. “Well sir, apparently our invitation must have gotten lost in the mail so we took it upon ourselves and dropped in.” General Lewis smiled, “Always the smartass Lieutenant, always the smartass.” Everyone laughed. The story that Lieutenant Williams had been telling had just become a fact, General Lewis recognizing the Seals had reinforced what the Lieutenant told them. “General Patrick, we should get these boys out of here into a place where we can speak privately.” General Lewis said. “Sir.” Lieutenant Williams said. “We have a portable shortwave radio set for you. They are expecting us to report back in in thirty minutes.” “Who is they?” Major General Lewis asked. “The President, sir, and General Clayton.” Major General Lewis eyes opened wide for a moment, “John Clayton from Delta?” “Yes sir, one in the same.
