General Patrick finally took notice of the trident on the uniforms of all of the men sitting at the table, not to mention the tape on the uniforms that read ‘US Navy’. “How the hell….” General Patrick said out loud. “That’s part of what I was trying to find out as you walked up, sir.” Colonel Flat told him, they said they jumped in last night. General Patrick nodded, “Well don’t let me interrupt. Please continue.” Everyone in the dining facility was staring and listening intently to the Seal team commander. “We’re out of Oceana NAS. We are an element of Seal Team Four. We were dropped in by a C-130 aircraft at zero two hundred last night.” Lieutenant Williams explained. “You don’t say….” General Patrick was skeptical. “Well sir, apparently our invitation must have gotten lost in the mail so we took it upon ourselves and dropped in.” General Lewis smiled, “Always the smartass Lieutenant, always the smartass.” Everyone laughed. The story that Lieutenant Williams had been telling had just become a fact, General Lewis recognizing the Seals had reinforced what the Lieutenant told them. “General Patrick, we should get these boys out of here into a place where we can speak privately.” General Lewis said. “Sir.” Lieutenant Williams said. “We have a portable shortwave radio set for you. They are expecting us to report back in in thirty minutes.” “Who is they?” Major General Lewis asked. “The President, sir, and General Clayton.” Major General Lewis eyes opened wide for a moment, “John Clayton from Delta?” “Yes sir, one in the same. He’s now special advisor to the President.” “Well I’ll be damned.” Major General Lewis said. “Well grab your gear and let’s get going, we shouldn’t leave them waiting.” “Let’s go boys.” Lieutenant William’s ordered his Seals. They grabbed all of their gear and followed the Officers out of the mess, down the street and into the headquarters building. They ended up in General Patrick’s office. General Patrick signaled for everyone to take a seat, “Sir, we would like to set up the radio and we need to run the antennae up to the roof.” Master Chief Stuble told him. “By
“Acknowledged. Delta get ready we’re almost at the LZ!” Rex ordered. His squad jumped up and grabbed their gear which was spread across the ship. They all checked the power on their weapons and checked the communication links between their
Dano turned to the news channel and Steve stared in amazement. Steve saw the headline, and his face turned pale. The pearl Harbor Naval Base was under attack. There were at least a hundred of the enemies, and they were all wearing masks, so nobody could see their faces. They took over the whole naval base and had kept all the naval officers as hostages. Since the naval base was surrounded by water on one side, there were only a couple ways to get to the base. They could try to take a boat to get into the base, they could cross the bridge to get to the base, and they could also take air support, such as a helicopter. The enemies had the whole base covered, so there was no weak spot.
"PigeonEye." A raw voice intruded her thoughts. "We should turn back and report to our clan. We've done all we could to..."
“Well hurry up!” said Captain Lewis as he walked off angrily fearing that the mission was over.
“You’re all idiots, you’re all going to die.” The man said. “You think you can come here and attack Rosina for no reason.”
“Roger, extraction is on the way," The Brigadier responds then rushes away from the comm center in Spearhead Base to inform General Organa of Delta Squad’s status.
“We intend you no harm, may the others approach? I'd like them to hear this very good news.”
Sergeant Torres left Corporal Ross and headed to the rear where Corporal Brown and Specialist Begen were. “What’s going on boys?” asked Sergeant
The chief made a face and pointed. “Over there... on that pile of rubbish, guv’na. We were just about to cast them into the fire.”
SSG Bell and Wo signaled they were ready, with that Senior Master Sergeant Smith switched off the electricity, SSG Bell moved up and around the corner quickly tossing in a flash-bang grenade and pulled back. The PJ’s pulled down their night vision goggles, and turned away, once it went off they waited a few moments and then the three men charged into the building, clearing the rooms, which were all empty until they got to the conference room where they found the two that called themselves Martatha and Econlock, but no Colonel or
“Sire, what are your orders? Should we send a party of knights after them?” asked one of the soldiers.
“Alright lets go we’ve recruited all of the soldiers that are going to join” said the general of the army.
“The platoon peasant? I will give the new guy a shot, I never met him, so I don’t really trust him with the shift, do you?” I asked.
“No, take it down and get it sent out, then read it and come back and talk to me. Also, set up a radio conference with myself and the General at seventeen hundred our time.”
“I’m sure we did,” Chandler the Fair agreed, wiping the sweat from his brows. “What’s next on our to-do list, Walther? Sorry, I just don’t have the file on me at the moment for reasons that should be very obvious.”
