Today, as I attend school with the major heading as “Missions,” I hear a lot of talk about different methods in creating disciples. However, “Paul’s modus operandi for training was time on task” (pp. 59). In other words, disciples were made through time spent rather than strictly content. It sounds like relationship was a key aspect. Paul also focused on transferring these converts into true believers. It seems a lot in churches today, individuals are more focused on content rather than time. Therefore, they spend more time in the church “learning” than spending time with those that need “discipled.” With that, people in the church tend to “convert” others or brag about increased attendance, but have no plan to turn these individuals into true believers.

Jesus was the son of God, who was created by God and the second person within the trinity. God is viewed as the father, the son, and the holy spirit, according to the Christian worldview. Jesus was created from God planting a seed in Virgin Mary. Jesus was thus born to spread the word about God and all the gospel. Jesus lived a life as a human as all of us do now. He experienced a lot of things we as human’s experience. Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins where he died on the cross. Jesus is important to the Christian worldview because he is the ultimate reason we are who we are today. “God is both holy and just, so although he created humanity to be immortal, he could not accept them into his holy kingdom in their sinful state (Lecture 5). Jesus Christ was born around 4 BC, and believed to be the the true Son of the true God the Father. Jesus performed miracles on Earth, preached about God, and was crucified. He was then crucified by a man named POntius Pilate, for committing treason. Since Jesus was the Son of God, he had the power to stop His crucifixion, but he didn’t. He didn’t in order to save all of humanity; the Nicene Creed states Jesus saved us, “for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven” (Nicene Creed). Jesus has been worshipped since then; people pray to Him, dedicate churches to praising Him, and teach his teachings.

Many people ridicule Christians for believing in a man who resurrected from the dead. They laugh at Christians and criticize them for basing their faith on an event that lack proof and evidence. However, the evidence that skeptics use to challenge the Christian faith, in actuality, support the claims that Jesus truly was the God that he claimed to be. The evidence that affirms Jesus’ claims to be true include his lifestyle and teachings, the prophecies that he fulfilled, historical facts, and the dramatic transformation of the lives of his disciples. Many may ask Christians how they can believe in a Savior without proof of his divinity; but, in reality, God has given us an abundance of signs. He is still providing us with compelling evidence

We all know the stories about Jesus that is so popular and important to people now who are religious. Jesus claimed that he is the Son of God and although it is something he really didn’t put out there people still talked about it. First of all, modern day biographers are going to write about Jesus and portray the human side of Jesus rather than the divine, Son of God side, even though he is the Son of God sent to earth in human form born of a woman. Jesus is going to be portrayed with all of the human attributes and failings of any man of his day. He is going to be seen as any other poor Jewish person living at that time, as a carpenter’s son trying to make a living on what little they make. Evangelists on the other hand will see Jesus as God’s son who is without sin .The Evangelists will emphasize strongly that He is God’s Son, the one called Messiah, prophesied in Isaiah as the one who will save His people.

    “A thousand times in history a baby has become a king but only once in history did a king become a baby.” The Bible and other written documentation was written by man, so people think it’s flawed and not the word of God. They’re not able to walk by faith and not by sight. This means that if they don’t see Jesus and the miracles that He performed, they don’t believe all the “stories” in the Bible happened in real life. People who believe in the Bible, walk by faith, meaning that they trust in God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a virgin, died and was resurrected for the sake of all humanity.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories to Jesus and all that he stands for. There are those who feel that he never existed, or that perhaps he did, but the things about him are made up. The Christian belief is that he did exist and that there is proof of the things that he did. However, there are still many who feel that mythical Jesus is just a story that is told.

Despite many people’s beliefs, Jesus Christ was not a revolutionary. Scholars disagree on many factors of Jesus’ life but ultimately can choose whether he was a revolutionary or reformer. Jesus was a reformer because he adapted the Lord’s commands to his own beliefs without abolishing the Jewish law, kept the peace between his followers and the Jews, and abstained from political involvement.

The quest for the knowledge on the historical Jesus started as a protest against the traditional dogma of Christianity, but when the neutral historians joined the movement, all they saw was Jesus without features. Even when these scholars decided that other biblical figures such as John the evangelist, John the Baptist, Paul, and others were at home in a symbolic and richly storied world. Jesus himself

There is a lot of evidence which point to the truth of Christianity. If the resurrection of Jesus truly occurred, then Jesus is God the son. If the resurrection did not occur, then he is not God the son.

If I was to ask who Jesus was, I would have said that he was Jesus the son of David, son of Abraham. Jesus led many into Christianity and they were called Christians as Jesus was the Christ the son of God whom God sent to save mankind. I believe in Him as a leader and savior, and follow his teachings. I believe in one God, God the father the almighty. Who created heaven and earth, and all things; seen and un-seen Jesus is a divine being whom a virgin mother conceived of. God made this occurrence possible. Jesus however grew and lived among humans on earth over 2000 years ago. Jesus was a Jew, where he lived and died in Israel and spent his life in ministry with his disciples, teaching and spreading of the word of God and

There is a large amount of evidence that proves Jesus is the Messiah and Lord of the universe. The evidence is shown through the following facts: It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly exhibited as crucified! Does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? (Probatio, 3:1 – 4:31). Jesus has said that he will grant relief if you are a believer in Him. Those who do not obey or believe will suffer punishment for eternity and will be sent away from his glorious throne. Those who believe in the testament will have eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven. Second, Christ died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day and appeared to Peter and then to the other twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most are still alive today, though others have died. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).
