Francesco ruled over Milan as the Duke and was loved by his people. Sforza promoted humanism when he “modernised the city and duchy, and he created an efficient system of taxation that generated enormous revenues for the government…” (absolute astronomy). Learning, culture, and art were important to Sforza, making his court a center for the Renaissance learning. He did create new structures during the Renaissance for Italy such as building the Ospedale Maggiore, also promoting classicism by restoring the Palazzo dell Arengo(a romanesque styled building). He also built a channel connecting with the Adda River. In 1454 the Peace of Lodi was formed by Cosimo de’ Medici and Francesco. The Italian League was also formed a little after and it helped

I should acquire the San Pellegrino instead of Ollie because of multiple vindications and reasons. First off, I have a suspicion that Ollie peculated the drink twice yesterday. He already possesses a reputation for stealing belongings from others. Second, Ollie always sits on his fat ass playing Roblox and lounging around every day. If anything, I am involved in more physical activity and therefore deserve the drink more than he does. Lastly, Ollie is a growing boy who already eats plenty of processed sugar every day, and giving him the San Pellegrino will only aggravate his

In his essay “Of Christians and Indian Loggers” author Tom Swift Bird uses rich imagery and figures of speech to detail the cultural and religious differences between the Indian people and American Christians, as well as state his views on modern Christianity. He speaks to the people who live outside of Reservations in a strong attempt to get them to understand the importance of culture in his life and the lives of his fellow Native Americans. He uses a narrative focused on the tale of three Indian loggers, hired by Christian men, in order to convey his message of cultural erasure.
The principal architectural elements of this design are the three aisled basilica with no transepts. The basilica is an axially planned church with a long nave, side aisles, and an apse for the altar. Santa Sabina also has a long, tall, broad nave, following an axial plan. The spolia are the tall slender columns. Santa Sabina has windows made not of glass, but of selenite, a type of transparent and colorless gypsum. Santa Sabina also has a flat wooden roof, coffered ceiling, and thin walls supporting a light roof. As an early Christian basilica, Santa Sabina has thin walls supporting wooden roofs with coffered ceilings. Lastly, Santa Sabina has a bare exterior with a sensitively decorated interior, which represents the Christian whose exterior may not be very attractive, but whose interior soul is gorgeous. Santa Sabina is made from brick and stone.

Victor Arguinzoniz was born in a Basque village up in the high mountains in Axpe, up in northern Spain. Growing up in a village where no one had running water or electricity, Victor’s grandmother would always cook meals over a wood fire. “Everything was cooked by fire. I have strong memories of the aromas of firewood, of the flavor it brought to all of our food.” (Goulding, R&K) Eventually, in 1988, Victor dropped his job as a Forester and bought an old abandoned restaurant in the main plaza of Axpe, and started his path on elevating his path for the food of his childhood - traditional Basque grilling, a type of grilling with precision and imagination that his fellow countrymen like Ferran Adria and Juan Maria Arzak were introducing to the
Abbas Vaez Tabasi, known as the “Sultan of Khorasan”, head of Astan Quds Razavi, the entity in charge of Shite’s eighth Imam Shrine in Mashhad, Khorasan, cast his vote in the Friday elections and died. Over the last 35 years, he built a multi-billion dollar economic-cultural empire in the north-east. Tabasi, appointed by Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, the founder of Islamic Republic, was a long term friend of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader. However, Tabasi will be missed by the former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, more than anyone else; both were VIP member of Iran’s post-revolution clerical aristocracy. Over time, both had become more corrupt and less radical. Khamenei quickly appointed Tabasi’s successors for the different offices he had assumed. His successors have one thing in common: they are radical extremist, even by the Islamic Republic’s standard, loyal to Khamenei, and very hostile toward Rafsanjani and his allies such as President Hassan Rouhani and ex-president Mohammad Khatami.

Books can be a source of great knowledge or great danger depending how they are used. The inquisition sought to protect the people from this perceived threat by banning books they deemed heretical and thus hazardous. The consultation of Master Sancho is a written exchange between a scholar and a religious authority discussing whether one could own sacrilegious books and still be a good catholic, or if merely owning them made you a heretic.
I have the best friends in the whole world and their names are Zach and Domenic. If I had to pick the “better” friend even though I love them both the same I would pick Zach over Domenic for many reasons. Zach is more kind, funny and I known him longer than I have known Domenic. For example I have known Domenic for a little more over a year while I have known Zach for over three years now. I have known Zach since High School, I know more about Zach then I know about Domenic. Another interesting fact is that Domenic is one of the most kindest people I have ever met in my entire life and he is always there for me when I need it even though he lives far away. But Zach is always here for me physically whenever I am hurt or if

Oliver Twist is up to its brim in themes and ideas that mingle together to create a wildly inventive and thought provoking novel. From social class to government corruption any number of messages can be investigated and examined in order to better understand mid-19th century London. One of which is the idea that the characters are forever stuck in their lifestyle, no matter how hated it may be. It is seemingly their fate to live out their lives like they always have. One can simply take a look at Oliver to see that this is not altogether true. Although at birth the course of his life was determined for him, he was able to break free from his figurative chains to become greater than he ever imagined. However, the case is different for Nancy. She could’ve abandoned her unhealthy lifestyle and was even offered a better one, but she chose to stay. It was her destiny to stay right where she was in her life, for better or for worse. By contrasting Oliver and Nancy’s lives, Charles Dickens demonstrates that while powerful, the fate of a person can be changed according to that person’s free will.
