* What are your goals for the semester? What are your goals for the year? One of my goals for the semester is make sure I do the best I can with school and sorority. Being Ritual Chairman, one of my goals is to ensure that all the sisters are wearing WHITE. I agree that at this point ALL sisters should have the appropriate attire for ritual. I will mention something at meeting about it. I have looked online and in store, and there are a lot of white dresses for sale since it is summer, and for good prices too. I have definitely thought about wearing nicer clothing to rituals. I remember seeing girls in sweatpants or yoga pants (myself included) during rituals last semester. I know everyone wants to be comfortable for meeting because they do
Some of the goals this year is to get good grades on most of the subjects. What I will do to accomplish that is I will listen in class and study for more than one day. Something I’ve done right I want to continue doing is to read a lot of books and writing excellent essays. I also want to do better in Social Studies. I will do this by studying history facts every week.
2. What are your goals for the future? How do you plan to achieve them?
The first goal i would like to achieve is to get a GPA of 3.5 - 3.8 or higher and to get honor roll. I will achieve this goal by focusing more on my grades and paying more attention in my classes. This goal is important to me because I want to show my family I can do better this year. When I get the paper that says that you were in honor roll. I will
Some of the ways I would like to achieve my goals for this school year is to do all my work.Another way That can help me is to turn in all my work when it is supposed to be turned in.I will also make sure I earn all the credits I can this school year.
Because I have identified several tools given to me – and that I am aware of my purpose, I can now set goals. My most immediate short-term goals as a college student include: becoming proficient at balancing my time well, soaking up the information that I am being taught, making great grades, serving my community, traveling and studying abroad, and attaining internships and scholarships.
My goals for this year are to get good grades so i can be a doctor or join the F.B.I’s B.A.U, be there for anyone who needs help or just needs a friend, and stop bullying so the students at Lyman Hall can become even closer as a family. All my life the only thing i ever wanted to do was to help and protect others, friends, foes, or strangers, I don’t care. I love and care about every single soul on this planet equally. And if i achieve these goals i might just be able to do that!
Ever since I was young, I was exposed to a Historically Black College or University, Jackson State University. I had always went to activities and functions such as football games, summer programs, and other special events. I did not know whether I would attend a historically Black College or University (HBCU) or not at the time. I had finally decided to go to a HBCU, and I would attend Tougaloo College in the fall to further my education. I have many goals and objectives for pursing my educational experience at a historically Black College, and I plan to achieve them.
Since starting the school year in August, my main goal is to become a more educated and well-rounded individual. After almost completing two full semesters here at Sam Houston State University I feel like I have taken steps to fulfill my goal. I know if I keep giving hundred percent towards my education I can achieve any goal I set before myself.
My goals for next year, boy this is always a super tough question for me. My goals for next year is to make it through each semester and not give up and graduate next summer with my master’s degree. I believe the rest will just fall into place.
This semester at AUM I have identified three SMART goals. My first goal is to form better study habits and quit being such a heavy procrastinator. In order to be successful, I have to break my bad habits. The things I did in high school will not work in college. My second goal is to earn a 4.0 GPA this semester. I came to college to succeed. Since I am paying for my tuition it would be in my best interest to earn the highest GPA I can in order to have a better chance at receiving scholarships. My last goal is to maximize my potential by utilizing the different techniques I learned about my learning style. If I am able to this, I have been assured that I will learn more effectively. Hopefully by doing this I will actually retain the information
As a nontraditional student as well as a Sophomore my goals as well as responsibilities are different from the typical student’s. As a father of three, including a six month old balancing my professional, academic, together with my personal life has been the most challenging aspect of returning to school.
Established by you (and indicate how you arrived at these goals: i.e., I noticed that my tutee’s work is so sloppy, and that is why she gets some of her math problems wrong. In addition, she does not always show all of her work. So, one of my goals for her is to write her problems more neatly, and to show all of her work.):
This semester, I want to improve my vocabulary. I believe that I have very strong ideas, but I do not always have the right words to emphasize my message. I would also like to work on creating better flow in my writing; as mentioned in class, it is common for writers to start with an idea and continue on a tangent that does not always relate to the main idea. My third goal for this semester is to elaborate more on my ideas. I feel like the papers I have written in the past are good, but I could have explained myself further and received more points on my papers.
After two full weeks of college I have quickly learned that college is very stressful and if I want to be successful I need to learn how to set practical goals and acquire necessary tactics to accomplish each goal in the given amount of time. I have set three goals for my first semester of college to achieve success in both academic and personal areas in my life. I want to receive a 4.0 GPA, only have up to one absence in each class, and be able to run seven miles nonstop, I will complete these three goals all in my first semester of college. With essential goal setting strategies I am equipped with I will be able to accomplish my three goals in the time frame given and set myself up for success for next semesters as a UNC student.
People try to reach their goals right? Some goals such as finishing high school, finishing assignments, or trying to get A’s on your grade. I had C’s so this time I am trying to get A’s and B’s. Here are my goals for the 2nd semester.
