B. Notification
During an event an unidentified package is located and identified within the Waterwood Property, proper notification channels will be completed. All employees will be notified via the blue light panic strobe light there is an emergency situation occurring. Employees should keep in mind this is only a visual notification alarm system.
A member of the Emergency Management Team or Emergency Coordinators will generate an email notifying all housed within both Waterwood Building that there is an unclaimed suspicious package. Location of the package will be provided via email and all individuals will be recommended to not exit the buildings and/or be within close proximity of the unidentified package.

6. The Building Manager will immediately contact Kennewick Police Department. If the Building Manager is out of the office, then a member of the Emergency Management Team or Emergency Coordinator will contact Kennewick Police Department.

Evacuation protocol will follow with the activation of the visual evacuation alarm triggered either by the Building Manager or member of Emergency Management Team or Emergency Coordinator will contact Kennewick Police Department. 10. All individuals will remain at Rally Point “X” until the Building Manager or designated Incident Commander confirms it is safe.
b) In Person Bomb Threat
1. Individual will remain and inform the aggressor they will go get the Building Manager or a supervisor for them.
2. The Individual will immediately contact the Building Manager to notify them of the emergency situation. The tactical firefighting operation, mass notification process, evacuation plans and emergency operations command and control were readied by noon of 21 October, after timing estimates of the rapidly growing fires showed them fast approaching city limits. As part of the effort to support department & building level emergency planning, GCCCD Public Safety oversees the campus Building Marshal Program. In case of a fire all caregivers will remove the children quickly as possible to the church located beside the daycare. The infant children will be placed in pack N plays and rolled to the church. The older children will be instructed to hold a rope and walk between the pack N plays.
Once the decision to evacuate has been made, the AOD will contact the maintenance department, assign radios, and make the public address announcement. Additionally, the AOD will direct someone to call 9-911 to initiate assistance from the local emergency response groups like the fire department, special rescue team, law enforcement, and emergency medical services. The purpose of this paper is to describe the legal considerations that an emergency manager must consider when conducting searches, seizures, and evacuation operations. The paper will address the following:
