Scrooge is an overly grumpy, rude, greedy, curmudgeon, mild, and insensitive, elderly man who lives in a house all by himself. He has silver, gray hair, a pointed nose, and wiry chin. He acts like a harsh, miserable, lonely, gloomy, and depressed fellow. He also was very unfriendly to those young fellows who were trying to gather donations for the poor. When Scrooge was younger, he was actually very kind and generous to the people around him. Scrooge is very inconsiderate of others, and accordingly to the text on page one, stave one it said that “ No wind blew was bitterer than he”, and he was a person who did not believe in the Christmas spirit until a trio of ghosts shows him his past, present, and future.

He opens the curtains were the 1rst of the 3 spirits stood but when it became 1:00 nothing appeared. Then Scrooge heard something in the next door room and it appeared to be the 2nd of the 3 spirits, the Christmas present. A description of the second ghost is “ he looks like a middle aged frat boy after a party, with a cornucopia in his hand. When the ghost said to Scrooge to hold on to his bathrobe and he did as told. As soon as they left Scrooge’s house, they went to Bob Cratchit's home. When they got there Mr.Cratchit was pulling up into the driveway. When Mrs. Cratchit heard the car she told her daughter, Mary to hide and she did as told. When Mr.Cratchit entered the room with his two other children ( besides Mary) gave him a hug. Then he asked Mrs.Cratchit where was his daughter Mary? Then Mrs.Cratchit told him she was not coming. When Mary heard this she revealed herself and gave her father a ginormous hug. After that,the family played games and therefore even Scrooge joined in the fun, even though the Cratchit’s could not witness him or hear him. Then Scrooge realized that he did not know what day it was. So to figure out Scrooge asked a young lad walking below his window what day it was. The young lad said “ well, it’s Christmas day kind sir”. Then Scrooge realized that he has not missed it…. the spirits did all that in one night! Then Scrooge told the boy “you see young lad do you know where the poulterer’s is”? “Yes I do sir” the lad said. Well, does he still have that colossal prize turkey? “Do you mean the one that is as big as me’’ said the lad. Yes, I do said Scrooge. If you go buy it for me and give them my address. Come back with the man and I will give you a shilling, but if you come back in less than 5 minutes and I will give you half a crown. The young lad did as told and received his prize for doing this for kind Scrooge. The man carrying the turkey said you will need a cab to transport this. Then, with the turkey Scrooge paid a cab to take him to his coworker’s ( Bob’s) house. In conclusion Scrooge was going to deliver this turkey to his coworker , and have a good time with his family, other coworkers, and friends,including Tiny Tim, who was not dead had a good time.
