Dr. Michael Savage, host of radio show “The Savage Nation” has recently released his latest book, Scorched Earth: Restoring The Country After Obama. In Scorched Earth, Dr. Savage unveils the destruction President Obama has done to America by going deeper with greater detail than any major news outlet would be willing to go, to include Fox News.
Dr. Michael Savage has been on the air for over 22 years with his message “borders, language, and culture.” He is a New York Times bestselling author having written numerous fiction and non-fiction books. Dr. Savage has been like a prophet to America, similar to the Israelite prophets in the Old Testament, providing both guidance and warnings for America, on how our actions today will result tomorrow.

Savage states that he will “try and awaken you.” Reading the book will send chills down your spine which will awaken you to reality of America after just eight short years of fundamental change by Obama. He powerfully articulates the reality that we are living in today on page 72 when he states: “While our indoctrinated, young, leftist radicals are tearing America down, our Islamist enemies are building their armies up.”
Every American, even if fully committed to voting for Donald Trump, still needs to read Scorched Earth. Even if Donald Trump wins the presidency, the real work begins for Americans to restore America after the damage that has been done by Obama and company. In this, Dr. Savage states on page 90: “When Trump wins in a landslide and the new government takes power in 2017, we’re going to be faced with a huge problem, which is all of the boll weevils that Obama has planted like poison pills throughout the federal government.”
If you read this book and you think that Dr. Savage wrote it to promote himself or to prop up Donald Trump in order to ride his coattails into the White House, you are dead wrong. Dr. Savage didn’t write this book for himself or Donald Trump, per se. He selflessly wrote this book as a warning for America if we do not elect Donald Trump as president. He wrote it to fight for a fight for a better America for us and our future
One of the major problems George and Jack encountered had a positive and negative impact on both of them. Firstly, as George and Jack were playing make-believe war, they encountered a highly restricted camp in which they got caught. They were escorted home and asked never to return. As they experienced intense curiosity, they returned and discovered military activities that occurred in the camp.
Vahan and his family are caught in the middle of the Armenian Genocide. In the book, Forgotten Fire, by Adam Bagdasarian, Sarkis Kendrian is a well respected Armenian mandarin of the city of Bitlis with several children and very little to worry about. That, of course, was until the beginning of the Armenian Genocide. Just after the beginning of it, multiple military personnel showed up at the front door of the home of Sarkis. They said he was wanted by the government and even though he knew that was not true he went with it. He, along with many other men from his town, were taken into the streets where they were killed. Shortly after, two of Vahan’s older brothers were taken behind the house and killed as well. This left the mother, Vahan, and his sisters and brother on their own as they were taken by the military along with many other members
Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard attempt to bring the reader to the events, through a thrilling story-like account of the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan and its impact on the rest of his presidency. The main points examined in this book, include, of course the assassination attempt on Reagan’s life, but it goes deeper to look at the impact on the remaining days of his Presidency. It examines John Hinckley and what causes him to commit this evil act against the President, and also examines Reagan’s political ambitions and ideas during his career as a Hollywood, years before he would hold political office. He does this all, not to diminish Reagan’s accomplishments as President, but to add to it to reinforce the great accomplishments, and what Reagan overcomes to achieve them. Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard have co-written several historical books that have reached the top of the New York Times bestselling list. The “Killing” series include six books co-written by Dugard and O’Reilly. In addition, Dugard has written several bestselling historical books. Bill O’Reilly, in addition to being a bestselling author, hosts the number one rated cable news show, The O’Reilly Factor, on Fox News. He graduated from Marist College, in New York, with a bachelor’s degree in History. He also holds a masters of arts degree
The war saw countless devastating war methods that not only killed thousands but killed them in torturous ways. An example of one of the tactics can be seen in document 13 in which water is forced into a person until their stomach nearly bursts and the person is beaten until they vomit all of the water back out; this is also known as water curing. This is repeated many more times as a way to gain information about the enemy. The American soldiers were not able to differentiate which of the Filipinos was a friend or foe because of the Amigo warfare strategy where the Filipinos pretended to be friends during the day but attacked at night. It is worth mentioning that America also used something similar to this scheme when they first entered the
Dinesh D’Souza wrote What’s So Great About America after the attack of September 11, 2001. After the attacks, most people grieved, even if they knew on one that died; however, people also banded together and fought against a group they thought were attacking them. He wrote this book so that pride for America would radiate from the people long after the attacks; that they also would not so easily forget what they did for the country.
Right from the beginning of the chapter, Welch comments, “to say that America changed on September 11 is more than a cliché; the nation’s identity as a target – and victim – resonates both symbolically and substantively” (4). When you turn on the news, it is common to hear about so many countries that experience widespread violence and attacks on a near daily basis, but Americans felt removed from that since they did not have to endure
“A Spirit Reborn” is a well-known article published by the New York Times and written by William Safire. This New York Times columnist has written everything from novels and newspaper articles, mainly focusing on current events and political views, even presidential speeches. His titles have ranged from TV and radio producer, a publicist, a speechwriter, along with others. As a result he has been given many opportunities to discuss a wide range of topics, earning him prizes and even being quoted in a campaign ad for Ronald Reagan. Since the New York Times Newspaper is open to the public, it can be assumed the targeted audience for this article is U.S. Citizens troubled by the terrorist attacks that took place on September, 11 2001. Furthermore
These attacks were a changing point in American society because it brought out racism and discrimination against Muslim and Islamic people. For example, the author discloses,”I know America has a right
In this persuasive essay, Charles Krauthammer immediately speaks on the steady demise of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda and how the war on terror was an “unconventional war by an unconventional enemy” that required an unconventional approach to win (Krauthammer 706). Krauthammer states that there has not been a major terrorist attack in the United States of America in over a decade. In turn, this supposedly demonstrates to the audience that the defensive apparatus created by President George W. Bush to counter terrorism has been very effective in getting its purpose done, and that is to protect the American citizens.
The OP-ED piece written by Peggy Noonan on Nov. 19th, 2015 attacks the reader on several different fronts, but allows the same reader to empathize with individual aspects of the piece, or all of them. Feelings take center stage at first and Ms. Noonan challenges how the reader feels by deploying evidence; a synopsis of terror throughout the last two decades. Relentlessly she shows how just how permeable humanity is to intimidate by terror, along with the failures of President Barack Obama. Obama’s approach is belittled, even claiming the President is “barely relevant” and she does not consider his viewpoint. On a glance, she opens with a personal experience and then depicts several terrorist events, while tying them to the failures of Obama, and finishes with an example of greatness and questions who should steward this country going forward.
Despite the several terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania, America remained strong and united. In the speech “Address to the Nation on the Terrorist Attacks”, George W. Bush, addresses the terrorist attack of September eleventh to let the citizens know they can overcome a tragic and mournful incident by remaining unified and a powerful country. The primary audience are the citizens and the family members of the ones who had died or were involved in the incident. The secondary audience are the terrorists to let them know American’s are not scared and will stand together against them. Bush uses ethos, pathos, and figurative language to encourage the citizens to be stronger, united, and feel safe.
One of the most detrimental and traumatic events of United States history involves the terrorist attacks on the day of September 11th, in 2001. September 11th is a day countless Americans will never forget. Because our nation encountered such a horrific attack, it was up to our president during the time, President George W. Bush, to address the country. Many Americans suffered loss and fear; therefore, former President George Bush’s goal was to heal and comfort the nation by persuading them to see the light within the darkness. Bush’s speech was a success because he showed America’s togetherness and solidarity by creating an emotional connection to the audience; moreover, by responding appropriately to the attacks, he presented himself with a leadership and role no one else could take.
The events that took place in America on September 11, 2001 will have a lasting wound on this country forever. President George W. Bush’s speech, “A Great People Has Been Moved to Defend a Great Nation”, gave America something to have hope in. Bush was a republican president and was the 43rd of the United States and was a very passionate man. Although Bush had to make some tough decisions that very day, he was a president that made a lasting impact on America. Throughout Bush’s speech, he effectively covered pathos, ethos, and logos.
"But I don’t want comfort. I want God, I want poetry, I want real danger, I want freedom, I want goodness. I want sin." (Page 211, Chapter 17) This is the Savage explaining he would rather have real life, like in the old world, but instead, he is sucked into the World States idea of freedom; well, lack thereof that is.
The term “War on Terror” alone has created a psychological phenomenon that struck fear in the minds of many Americans. The Bush Administration elevated those three words to a national mantra that had impacted the American democracy destructively. It had impacted the American psyche as well as the United States’ standing in the world. In an article by Zibigniew Brzezinski, he explains, “Using this phrase has actually undermined our ability to effectively confront the real challenges we face from fanatics who may use terrorism against us.”
