You hear your name being yelled out of the loudspeaker you walk out to that snowy area and get ready”3,2,1 GOOO!!!!” You race down the hill, almost feeling like your going to fast! When you hit a rock you go flying into the air. When you land, everything slowly goes black after you see red snow around you. You may never see your family again… this is what could happen to you in extreme sports. So i'm here to say why they are not worth the risk because they are deadly only pros should be doing it, and they cause other severe injuries.
My first reason is that it’s deadly. For example, in a video called “Sarah Burke’s Death: Extreme Sports Dangers”. It talks about a girl named Sarah Burke who died while practicing for the X-Games©. Here's the story, when Sarah Burke was practicing for The X-Games©. She hit her head and then died 9 days later. Also, a boy named Kevin Pearce hit his head in the same spot as Sarah Burke but he did not die, he just had a head injury and is probably never going to do it again! In addition, The X-Games© keep getting even more dangerous because they raised half pipes for snowboarding or skiing from 16 in to 18 in and then 22 in. but also, i interviewed 3 kids my age and ⅔ of them said that extreme sports are deadly! That shows that it is not safe.
