“Have no fear of perfection - you 'll never reach it,” said famous Spanish painter, Salvador Dali. Dali seems to be implying that no matter the effort, perfection is unattainable and something that should not be feared by anyone. Famous Puritan authors Jonathan Edwards and Nathaniel Hawthorne in their works give the same impression as Dali, they both believe that the strive for perfection is both unrealistic and unattainable. In regard to the unattainably of perfection Hawthorne and Edwards’ opinions differ greatly, Edwards believes that even though perfection is unrealistic, one can and should still strive for it, while Hawthorne on the other hand believes that because perfection will never be reached, it would be unnecessary for one to strive for it.

To determinate if the personnel director at East High School is in trouble for these lawsuit is important to consider the two sides and see if the laws that protects minorities are valid for this case or the arguments from Tory Bolton are valid in the case.
As an observer at David Lawrence Elementary School, I was able to attend an event located at Florida International University located in North Miami, Florida conducted by David Lawrence and MAST@FIU High School. The event took place on November 23rd 2015. The school’s administrators from David Lawrence, along with eight grade teachers, parents and students also attended the event. During the session valuable information was given to parents in regards to the excellent educational opportunities offer at MAST (Marine Academy of Science and Technology).
Dred Scott was born into slavery around 1800 in Virginia. He was owned by Dr. John Emerson a surgeon who worked for the army. Dr. Emerson 's career took him, along with his other slaves, to the free territories of Illinois and Wisconsin. While in Wisconsin, Dred Scott married Harriet Robinson, who became property of Dr. Emerson, who also married Eliza Irene Sanford in 1838. When Dr. Emerson died, his slaves were in charge of his wife. Scott tried to buy his freedom and his family’s for $300, but Mrs. Emerson refused, motivating him to sue for his freedom. On April 8, 1846, Dred and Harriet Scott sued for liberty in a court of St. Louis County, Missouri. There were some precedents in the local jurisdiction of Missouri according to which if a slave returned to the State after having been in a free territory, he could remain still free; those precedents had confirmed the principle of "once free, always free".

Every day, I have the amazing privilege of attending St.Columbanus School. Having been able to receive such a wholesome and enriching education for the past 5 years has made me eager and expectant for my future. It is my hope that all students are able to receive such an influential education, one that I feel can only be fully realized in the caring, welcoming, and familial environment that Catholic schools provide. Since Catholic Schools Week is currently being celebrated in schools across the Archdiocese of New York, I feel this is the best time to try and share with everyone all the benefits of a Catholic education. The theme of Catholic Schools Week this year is “Faith, Knowledge, and Service,” which I felt would be a great way to help
With my parents being founders of Father McGivney Catholic High School, it has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents have been advertising and talking about the school since I was very young. They were upset that there was not a nearby Catholic school for myself and my siblings to attend when we finished school at St. Mary’s. So, like the go-getters that my parents are, they took matters into their own hands and began to start a campaign for a brand new high school in our area to be made a reality by the time my sister finished her years at St. Mary’s. I love attending Father McGivney Catholic High School and I thank God as much as I can for giving me this opportunity of a great education.
The event that I decided to closely observe was the Back to School Night at Van Ness Elementary School. Back to School Night was on Thursday September 8, 2016 from 5:30-7:00 pm. This event was open to all parents and community members who wanted to learn more information about Van Ness. All teachers hosted parents and visitors in their classrooms, and special teachers and staff personnel rotated around to different classrooms and passed out essential information regarding uniforms, the master schedule and was available to answer any questions. In general, the entire staff contributed to the function of the event, and made sure the parents and visitors felt welcomed and received all the needed information.
When driving past the modest copper bricked building topped with a bulky black roof, one might only see it as just a school for children; however, there is so much more to it than what meets the eye. The large black cross that clings to the front entrance wall suggests to its visitants the school’s religious affiliation which is further evidenced by the name “St. Louis” in slate black lettering on the wall parallel to it. St. Louis Catholic School was established in 1964 in Princeton, Illinois as a pre-school through eighth grade elementary school and is still today. It remains the only Catholic elementary school in Bureau Country, making it unique to the area. Although the class sizes tend to be small with regards to the quantity of students, the many experiences that the school provides including the encouragement of creativity, providing a friendly and comfortable classroom environment and the stress on the formation of a loving community live with the students for the majority of their lives.
Summary Polar bears are an important arctic species that are in danger of extinction because of climate change. Polar bears are known as a keystone species, meaning they have significant effect on the environment in which they live. As such, keeping polar bears alive is essential for a balanced ecosystem in the Arctic Circle. One of the major threats to polar bears is melting sea ice. As the overall temperature of the earth increases due to global warming and the greenhouse effect, the sea ice that polar bears live on for most of their lives is melting.
