Each of them go through their own struggles, whether it be unemployment, drug addiction, or even pregnancy, in addition to trying to find the money for the monthly rent. If there was ever a movie developed which was based on Evicted, then the soundtrack would have to be one of the most important elements of the movie in order to highlight and emphasize the many difficulties that the people go through in their daily lives. By using meaningful songs and making connections to Can’t Stop Won’t Stop by Jeff Chang and The Columbia Guide by Robert L. Harris Jr and Rosalyn Terborg-Penn, a soundtrack for Evicted can be effectively
A musical score is one of the most important components of a film that can both affect the audience and make the film all the more successful. Most films usually open up with a musical score to get the audience’s attention, and Hitchcock had a tendency to use musical scores in a few of his films to lure the audiences in, and to enhance the story. The musical scores he uses are almost always specific, and in Psycho, Hitchcock composes the music as a fast-paced and dramatic score to both attract the audience, and to raise the tension within the film.

The music and dancing in this film is incredible. Each song in this film came from a list of songs that MGM owned and were written between 1929 and 1939. Originally some of these songs did not have lyrics to go with the music. Arthur Freed is the man who helped put words to these songs along with the help of Nacio Herb Brown who wrote the music. Iconic songs such as the one the film is named after “Singin’ in the Rain”, “Make ‘em laugh”, and even “Good Morning” are used in commercials and other films and even used as a satire. Gene Kelly was the choreographer for the film, which meant making up routines to each musical number and dancing to them himself.

There are many theories explaining what an auteur is, but I am not going to chose a specific theory to correct or criticize, instead I am merely going to use the term to prove that Wes Anderson has been and still is considered an important director whose work is made in a consistent manner yet still manages to be new and exciting. The auteur theory for some is considered ‘outdated’, so it seems strange to be using such term to describe a director who is recognized as an indie, contemporary American auteur, however for those who choose to believe that the auteur theory is evolving, it is useful. Wes Anderson, himself, “resists overarching theories about his works” (Empire Magazine issue 297, March 2014), believing that he is not an auteur,
In the list of the best Christian movies, “Fireproof” ranks among the top. The director was very keen in effectively using music to create mood, give emotions, and tell about an individual scene. The film is about Catherine Holt and Caleb, who are undergoing marital issues to the point of wanting to get a divorce. The union is saved by a challenge where Caleb is requested by his father to practice what is written in the “love dare” forty-day challenge. At first, he did it half-heartedly but after some time he realized he had feelings for Catherine. The film ends with a reunion and renewal of marriage vows. The movie uses several soundtracks to different scenes. Some of the songs are “Fireproof”, “Brighter Days”, “This Is Who I Am”, “On The Tracks”, “Love Dare”, “Slow Fade”, “Not Good Enough”, and “What You Don’t Have.” Other songs are “House Of Fire”, “While I Am Waiting,” “Temptation, “The Apology,” Personal Sacrifice,” “You Belong To Me,” She Did It To Me,” And Love Is Not A Fight.” These soundtracks are used in
The second soundtrack is “A Little Bit Of Love” by New Edition, released off their “All For Love” album in 1985. The lyric to this song really are the lyrics to my life. I grew up in a family where money was always tight, but there was always plenty of love to go around. My grandmother made a point of stressing to her family the importance of spreading love, not just within our family, but with others especially in their time of need. Still to this day I pass on to my children the values I learned from listening to song and my grandmother.
Adventure, mystery, and magic all go hand-in-hand when it comes to the Harry Potter series written by J.K. Rowling. The books were adapted into films starting in 2001. The first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, was directed by Chris Columbus. The story of Harry Potter is magical as is however; the movie needed a little extra magic. This extra magic needed to be added through music. Director Chris Columbus chose John Williams to compose the music for a promotional reel (John Williams). After Columbus heard the song for the promotional reel he knew they had to have Williams compose the entire movie (John Williams). Williams created an entire score for the movie and called it “The Harry Potter Suite.” “The Harry Potter Suite” has
