Students in classes are going through the nine SBI sessions and are encouraged to use the strategies they learned. Teachers in these classes are trained in a three-hour training session before SBI started. There will a weekly session at each school during which experimental group teachers recounted the problems and solutions of the previous week and went through the SBI lesson plan and materials to be used for the week. A researcher from the research team at the National Institute of Education sat in every SBI session, video-taped the session, and talked to the teacher briefly after each session about its implementation. Meanwhile, teachers in control classes followed exactly the same curriculum and textbook. Instead of receiving SBI materials
I’ve learned to integrate the essentials of baccalaureate education into my current practice by setting professional goals for myself and learning that I’m in a proficient level of nursing in my current practice as well as what it will take to reach expert level. I also learned how the use of evidence base practice is necessary for this changing healthcare environment and how nursing leadership can help through advocating for policy changes or new policies. The continuous changes in the healthcare environment have also created special populations who require a particular level of care. Also learned how important critical thinking is when it comes to developing a focused plan of care based on evidence along with the necessity of advocacy in
Reflecting on this course over this semester, there have been many lessons learned that will be valuable, as we enter the business world. Our first lesson was to learn to work together, as a team, to prepare a short memo, long memo, letter, and email for use in the business world. This is a lesson that will experience many times as we do our daily work. Punctuation and grammar are so important to present to the client and other organizations that we are professionals. It could mean the loss of a sale or acquiring new business. It’s like dressing for work; looking professional or unprofessional.
Taking what happened in the interactions and decided what category of class management was being utilized out of our possibilities. Also, how Junie B. reacted to each style of teaching whether is was a positive or negative interactions and whether it had a positive or negative reaction correlating with it. After deciding what our topic was going to deal with we decided to pull examples from real life that also illustrated our main ideas, so, the group also pulled examples of classroom management from bulletin boards seen in classrooms at the schools Raymond F Brandes and Creston that included clip system of disciplinary action, expectations of reading comprehension in grade levels, and a smiley to frown face disciplinary system.

One day I was ask to transfer Mrs X from bed into wheelchair. Mrs X is paralised so to transfer her a full body hoist is needed. I had to call for help, it wouldn’t be safe to do this by myself. I put right size sling on Mrs X with her cooperation. I carefully manovered hoist close to bed, then I hooked sling onto the hoist with short hooks on to of the body and long hooks on bottom. As part of my Business Innovation Development Project Unit, I had the opportunity to put myself into group with my friends or people I believed I could work well with. In the first stages of our group we all tried to get to know each other more through analysing personality and learning types’ test that we previously undertook. I realise we were going through the normal stages of the team formation in particular forming and norming (Tuckman, 1965). In my assignment group we had all Belbin team roles which helped us perform well throughout our project and also helped us to identify other team members’ behavioural strengths and weaknesses. During the initial stages of the group getting together I believed it was
In William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, many factors can be claimed as responsible for the tragic downfall of the main character. This play is characterized by its themes of ambition, conscience, and retribution, which prove themselves central to the resolution of the play. While Lady Macbeth and Macbeth himself play a large part in Macbeth’s downfall, the characters ultimately responsible for the downfall of Macbeth are the Weird Sisters. Without their contribution, Macbeth’s hunger for power would not have manifested itself in the same manner and his confidence would not have supported his irrational actions, which would have saved the life of many.
What really motivated me to enroll at GCU was a couple things. I was in the process of applying to a different college, and something just wasn’t feeling right. The process wasn’t going smooth at all. The enrollment advisor called me numerous time a day and the over the phone interview felt fake. As I got off the phone with her, I thought I would research my degree more. I googled Bachelors in Science with Business Management and Grand Canyon was one of the links. I had taken a previous class long time ago with GCU when I was pursing my BSN. I had remembered that all my previous prerequisites were on file. After more research on GCU another thing that convinced me was no out of state tuition. That is a big perk. Online classes are my only option
I feel that I am a great candidate for BSI performing arts because of my skills as an actor, singer, and dancer. In third and fifth grade I was able to show off my acting skills by auditioning for the school play and earning a part. I have shown my singing skills in many ways including earning solos, singing the national anthem at titan games and a church baseball league for neighborhood kids, and also serving as a singer for the worship team at my church. I have demonstrated my dancing skills by both making show choir in seventh and eighth grade. I also as a seventh grader was able to earn one of the select few roles in the play put on by the eighth grade show choir. From these experience I learned many ways in which I can better my performances
