Russell Creek Park is in large community park which located at Plano. It has soccer court volleyball court and lake etc. After weekend especially after children soccer game people will left with garbage. Who is responsibility for it? It is the people who went to the Park’s responsibility. As a student our power is not so big, but we can still do something small to help it. People will left their trash at the Russell Creek Park it means that there is not enough trash can and not enough slogan that warn them not to throw trash on the ground. If we ignore these we are endangering our environment. Harming the animals that lives in the park. We should not do these things. What should we do?
Finally, pollution may be the worst human impact of them all. Litter is a big problem as it affects the parks natural beauty and destroys several habitats, putting the wildlife’s lives at risk. This is managed by park rangers who come and pick up rubbish during opening hours. However, there are only a few bins in the park. This is partially effective but could be
Starved Rock Park is a beautiful, marvel that lies along the Illinois River just 90 miles West of Chicago. The park was named after a battle that took place in 1760 that involved the Ottawa Indian tribe. When the battle broke out among opposing tribes the Ottawa Indians were forced to take refuge on a giant rock. Several days after the battle, the tribe began to run out of resources and eventually starved to death, giving the rock and the park its name. The rich history of the area began in 8000 BC when the Archaic tribe first settled there. From then on tribes such as the Woodland, Hopewellian, and Mississippi have also inhabited the area. After the 1760 battle, however, Indian activity at Starved Rock Park declined leaving the area
Six years ago, my family and I went to Turner Falls Park in Davis, Oklahoma. We arrived at the park early in the morning and got ready to go swimming. I went to the restroom and got changed. When we were ready, we left to go swimming we walked on a bridge to get to the swimming area, there was a huge waterfall and we went swimming under it. After that we went to another swimming area that had two big slides, we swam there for about and hour then went to our camping area to eat. The next day we went hiking on trails and also went to a castle that was made of stone. We spent the rest of the day swimming and looking around the park. It was a great experience and It would be great to go again. In this essay you will be reading about history, a physical description
Smith Rock State Park is awesome. It is located near my home in Central Oregon. It is a frequent place for locals and visitors from all over the world. The spectacular spires and walls are carved out of 30-million-year-old welded tuff and rhyolite rocks that formed from the ash explosions and lava flows of an eruptive volcano. Geologists have identified a 230-square mile depression, called a caldera, that is all that is left of this ancient volcano. A caldera is a giant crater that forms when a magma chamber beneath a volcano erupts a large volume of material. The top of the volcano literally collapses into the newly emptied chamber, creating a huge depression. Smith Rock State Park is on the northwest corner of what is now known as

On any given afternoon at Parkway- Wabash park you will find little kids sliding down the slide, teenagers playing pick up on the basketball court, and men placing bets on card games. The familiar smell of a mixture of ribs grilling and weed smoke fills your nose as you hang out with friends from school and kids from around the neighborhood. Some white people, who are obviously lost, avert their gazes and walk-jog to get away from the “dangerous area”. Other white people, know exactly where they are and not-so-casually speed walk to the gas station to get a few grams of weed to smoke.
During this history class extra credit opportunity tour to River Bend State Park I fell like I learned a lot of very interesting information on not only American history, but also Seminole History. I also learned the methods that have been utilized in hopes of preserving the park in its natural state. It is well known that it will not be possible to get the park to be an exact replication of the way it was when the wars were taken place, because the park changed before and after those events, and we do not know the exact changes to make today. But nonetheless, the park is as close to as it was back then as it needs to be, and I thought that it was an amazing thing to be in such a well preserved meaningful location. I had no idea that the Seminoles were such a big factor in American history as well as the fact that they were the only Indian group to never surrender. The wars upon the Seminoles were not necessary, and America should not have taken everything from them, or killed so many of them. The Seminoles could have been a huge advantage towards America if we would have accepted them and learned their tracking skills, war tactics, and healthy living habits, rather than stealing from them and killing them.
“What’s the Boneyard Creek?” was the response I got from several my friends as I asked them about the trench located on the Engineering Quad. Honestly, if not for FOS I don’t think I would have paid much attention to the creek. It is not exactly beautiful and not particularly important to a students running by it to get to class. However, after a quick google search, I discovered that the Boneyard Creek is an extremely fascinating historic landmark of the University of Illinois.
In the shadow of Sauk Mountain lies a jewel in our state park system, Rockport State Park. Often overlooked by those driving the Mountain Loop Highway, this 632 acre park is home to some of the oldest growth forest in the area with trees up to 250 feet tall. It is only one mile off of the more well traveled Highway 530 and only a little over an hour and half from Bellevue.
Garbage in the Great Lakes are harming the Earth and making it unhealthy. Garbage is especially harming the animals and the Garbage is polluting the water. How should we prevent people from littering. Also how can we make the Earth more healthy?
For our community project, we should go to Buffalo Park which is on 2400 N Gemini Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. It is about a thirteen to fourteen-minute drive. Buffalo Park is mostly open flat trail that is on top of McMillian Mesa, which is an ancient lava flow. Buffalo is home to hundreds of mule deer, ravens and forest vegetation. At Buffalo Park, we can walk the trails and clean up any trash and litter that happens to be along the trail. Some of the benefits of cleaning this trail is that it helps people connect with the community. It also reduces the risk to wildlife by eliminating anything harmful to them or the environment themselves. Keeping the Buffalo Park clean and healthy, there is a higher chance that more people will go and visit
Have you ever thought about what your community would look like without litter? If so, it may take a while to find out. One person throwing something on the ground may not think much of it, however, when that trash finds other trash, they begin to build up and make big piles of junk. For example, I am sure people never thought that if they littered, their trash would end up in the pacific garbage patch. Believe it or not, no one thinks that until you look at the pacific garbage patch and see how disgusting it looks just because people were to lazy to throw their trash away. To make matters worse, littering has become very common, which should be stopped because in most cases, trash is not disposed of properly,
Next, without a clean park it could smell bad and hurt the environment. Lastly, if people just threw trash on the ground plants could die. How would you feel if every time you went to the park it smelled bad, plants had died, and the water was dirty? Well that's why you should keep public parks clean, to protect the environment. Do you like to go to parks and have fun?
There are some reasons for the problem. The first reason is that the effects of the thrown rubbish are very dangerous and extremely harmful. According to Miller (1987), global industrial organizations produce over 80,000 different chemicals (para. 5). Basically, garbage is old, dirty and wet, so that it is a perfect place for bacteria and other viruses to stay in. Rubbish growth in cities has been a problem all over the world for centuries. Landfills have always been regarded as sources of illnesses and unpleasant smells. The harmful wastes from the garbage spread through the ground from paint, chemicals, petrol, batteries, and other toxic materials that have been thrown away into the garbage. The toxic chemicals get into the water pipes and spread through the people’s drinking water. Another reason of that problem is that people have created all these disasters, which are connected with environmental pollution. The more modern technologies are created, the more unbelievable become wastes and remains of what is produced. From this, man is responsible for what he or she created and for the following consequences. Anxieties about the environment have made people more aware of their environmental footprints or the kind of waste they leave behind during their existence. The difficulty is that an average person leaves an incredible amount of wastes in his or her lifetime. According to Lovejoy (1912), all biodegradable substances, contained in
American citizens throw away millions of tons of garbage each year, and this trash has to go somewhere. While there are projects underway to clean and reuse this refuse most of it gets dumped into huge landfills. These landfills are disgusting festering blisters on our country's landscape. But people continue to consume and throw away more and more in the name of convenience. As they see it, when things get old, throw it away and get a new one. They blame the government for the trash problem, but the truth blame should be placed on themselves.
