7 The Running Rules of American Horror Story Series creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that AHS: Cult will not feature any supernatural elements, which makes this the first season in the show’s history to so. Every season of the show so far has included either ghosts, vampires, witchcraft, psychics, possession, or magic, all built around the running rules of the American Horror Story universe. For example, in this world ghosts are subject to specific rules; they are bound to the location that they died in and can have interactions with the living if they chose to do so. They can only move around on Devil’s Night. Sometimes the ghosts appear with the injuries they died from but other times they appear to look normal. We’ve come to associate AHS with the supernatural but of course, with AHS: Cult, the creators have twisted things up again. 6 Special Guests At The Hotel Cortez …show more content…
The first was the realtor Marcy, you remember her? She was the one who sold the Harmons the Murder House without mentioning it’s gruesome history. She popped up again as a guest at the Hotel Cortez, but like so many of the guests she meets a sticky end. After hearing a loud banging on her door she opens it and finds Rudolph Valentino and Natacha Rambova, who attack her and drink her blood. She ends up as a ghost, trapped in the hotel for eternity. The second character to appear was Queenie from Coven who also unknowingly checks into the hotel. Although she’s a powerful witch her skills are no match for the ghost of James Patrick March who finishes her

After a few more days in Paris, Colette saw another ghost. This ghost looked exactly like Colette. The ghost came and gave Colette some kind of warning and said her name was Véronique. As Colette’s trip went on, more murders were happening all around her. She also saw the ghosts more often.
The surprisingly non-fiction novel, Friday Night Lights: A Town, a Team, and a Dream, was written by H. G. Bissinger in 1990. The story follows the Permian High School Panthers football team of 1998. The setting takes place in the town of Odessa, Texas. Bissinger describes this town as, “the setting for this book, but it could be anyplace in this vast land where, on a Friday night, a set of spindly stadium lights rises to the heavens to so powerfully, and so briefly, ignite the darkness.” (16). It highlights the teams attempt at a Texas state championship with plenty of distractions and obstacles along the way. The main barrier for players and staff of Permian High was racism. Some may find it hard to believe but in the town of Odessa, desegregation was simply a “suggestion” and the community refused to accept the fact that white and blacks are equal. It was not until the early eighties that Odessa desegregated.
After describing her experiences with previous owners of the plantation, she learned that the ghost she had an encounter with often appears in bedrooms to check on those sleeping. She checks to see that residents are sleeping cozy and sound. Female tourists of the plantation report missing one earring after leaving the plantation. Tour guides write it off as Chloe taking one of their earrings because she loved them and had only one ear (Whitington).
Rebecca, how could you be a witch? You are the most wholesome person in all of Salem. And Elizabeth, one of the few people who
Group Psychodynamics and CULTS by Margaret Singer mentions, “No one type of person is prone to become involved with cults. About two-thirds of those studied have been normal young persons induced to join groups in periods of personal crisis, [such as] broken romance or failures to get the job or college of their choice” (Singer). The answer to my question is that anyone can be a victim of being recruited into a cult. I myself think that I would never fall into one, but there have been numerous times in my life where I have felt helpless and lost meaning in my life. At that time, if someone had told me that they could help me, I would have believed them. There are lots of cults that we have not heard of, so if one cult decides to recruit you then you might be curious enough to join without thinking of the expectations. Many recruits start by making you feel special. That you will be apart of history in the making and that God chose you to change the world. You, and only you, have the ability to do what you have been called to
Reverend Hale is another protagonist, he is the expert in witchcraft and later on sees the lies the girls are making.
Also, because many cults restrict relationships, especially sexual ones, ex-cultists may also be prone to binges of dating, drinking, and sexual activity, which may lead to feelings of guilt as they believe that those actions were not normal for them to do. Indecisiveness is also very common. Because cults tend to have extremely controlled environments, members are not often allowed to make even the most ordinary of choices, which can have repercussions on those who have escaped. One woman Singer interviewed described her experience with this. She states as follows, “I come in and can't decide whether to clean the place, make the bed, cook, sleep, or what.
I: I always found the witches to be the creepiest characters in Macbeth. In your adaptation who plays the role of the three

Cults can be classified as destructive, considering the methods used and how membership affects individuals. According to the International Cultic Studies Association or ICSA, cults can be considered destructive to its members. Reports form former cult member’s reveals that they have trouble trusting others, problems forming and maintaining relationships, and feel disconnected with the world. In addition, former cult members report being diagnosed with depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or PTSD often having flashbacks of events that occurred while they were in the cult. Finally, it is important to mention that cults also cause injuries or death. Considering these reports cults can be classified as destructive because members may have a difficult time adjusting to life outside the cult, difficulties in living life
Have you ever felt like you are living in a world where humanity isn’t at its best? Have you ever felt mixed emotions by watching a TV show? Is it possible for a show to represent love, hate, anger, drama, pain, sadness or even cause you a sense of distress? The Walking Dead is the perfect show to make you think about how people act in different situations in life and shows us what type of people these circumstances can create. The show is based on a post-apocalyptic time where the existence of humanity is near its end. The Walking Dead represents themes of fear, betrayal, sacrifice, hope, leadership and, the conflict between good and bad. Some aspects of the show such as the character development and how, psychologically, the characters tend
Fact or fiction? For centuries there has been talk but no one has yet to prove that vampires exist. The Vampire Diaries is a series based on novels about supernatural creatures as though it was reality, this series was launched in 2006 by the CW network. This supernatural drama has grasped its viewers and has grown in popularity making it one of the most sought after series. This heart pounding action packed show is now in its seventh season and after losing one of its main characters in season six, The Vampire Diaries has not skipped a beat with their ever so exuberant tails. The Vampire Diaries is by far my favorite television series to date because of its post-feminism, erotic love triangle, and the plot is tied with the ongoing mystery of the supernatural creature.
