People often say that their bad decisions are “heat of the moment” decisions. This shows how foolishness is part of our everyday lives. According to The Oxford Dictionary, foolishness is a lack of good sense or judgment; stupidity. Foolish decisions are often made by unwise people, however, wise people can still make bad decisions. This can be seen in Friar Lawrence's case when he decides not to tell Romeo and Juliet’s parents about their love for each other, but he hides it instead. “The quality or state of being wise; knowledge of what is true or right coupled with just judgment as to action; sagacity, discernment, or insight,” is the definition of wisdom. This means their life is easy and stress free, and elder relationships struggle sometimes because they go in debt, care about themselves more than the other person, and they get tired of eachother.
