First and foremost, I’d like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Currently, I am in the Eastern Time Zone, but I’m fairly versatile with roleplaying alongside with others from different timezones (with minor exceptions to GMT, and those with more than 5 hours ahead or behind). I’ve found that those interactions simply don’t work all that well in terms of keeping in touch, and I’ve had to discontinue two partners simply because the time difference was too much. But I digress from that! Twenty-six years of age, and I have been roleplaying for over 10 years, so I have a good deal of experience in my humblest opinion. I figure that’s enough about myself; now to get to the main reason you’re all reading this, and that is because I have been looking for roleplayers with the coming of this new year, someone to keep my muse levels high and my writing always on point while I maintain having two jobs, as well as a burgeoning social life. Someone easygoing yet creative with a vivid imagination to bring ideas to form is highly desired in a writer. This request is not for the faint of heart, and those who have considerable limits, …show more content…
For urban fantasy roleplays, I’ll take different sets of lore for creatures and create my own, not following any specific script, to say the least. Things from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, True Blood, Vampires The Masquerade, for instance, would cater to my urban fantasy cravings. Bonus points for anyone familiar with video game franchises like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Destiny, Borderlands, Overwatch. Now, I don’t necessarily roleplay these fandoms to the tee, and I wouldn’t play any canon characters from it. I would, however, love to play opposite canon characters with my own original assembly of characters, as well as playing in scenes and settings reminiscent of
Even in this day in age, nearly 70 years later, people all over still know and love Lucille Ball and her iconic television series, I Love Lucy. After buying Desilu from her ex-husband, Lucille Ball became the first woman in history to own her company. She also realistically portrayed her character because when Lucille was pregnant so was Lucy. Ball is known as one of the most influential women today because she opened the door for future women in comedy. Throughout her lifespan, Lucille Ball continually opened the door for women in comedy and television, changed the way women were perceived in the media, and was even the first woman to own a television studio.
The most substantial of these legal proceedings involving Westboro Baptist Church is the case of Snyder v. Phelps. In 2006, Albert Snyder sued the Phelps family on several counts, namely intrusion and intentional infliction of emotional distress.[6] Snyder’s son, Matthew, died in combat in Iraq and was brought home to Maryland for his funeral processions. Westboro Baptist Church decided to make an example of the fallen soldier, posting an article titled “The Burden of Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder” on their website. In this piece, they made multiple defamatory remarks about Matthew, such as saying that he was “raised for the devil”.[7] Westboro Baptist Church then traveled to Maryland and protested at Matthew’s funeral. The group carried
Thank you for taking an interest in the role! I really appreciate it. — So I have some background for the Emilia role, but it's open to creative freedom. She, Brandon (me) and the Kit all grew up on the bad side of town (I haven't picked a location yet, as I wanted everyone's input once I got the group together) She and Brandon are very close, almost like siblings, and he's very protective of her; they have a relationship like Dom and Mia from Fast and the Furious.
My final goal is to get out of Algebra extension. I’m not saying it's a waste of time, but it does gets boring doing math a second time. I get plenty of practice and ask a bunch of questions. But I would rather be in a different, amusing, and that’s worth my time. I plan to get out of it by doing a few steps. I have to do well in my regular class. If I get high B’s, which eventually my teacher would round me up, and then I can get out of extension. I would have to get all the help that I would need for this goal. I can’t feel shy to ask questions in front of others. I will also get high scores on Star test like eight hundred. Scores above five hundred is considered to be the best. This one, I’m kind of on my own. I really can’t get help for
Nothing was heard, only the water droplets that drops from the crack ceiling. Making a small puddle on the ground, having mice roaming around the place.
You have to establish details about the character and there relationship with the environment and other characters. The opening scene with just Callie in her living room apartment was pretty long. At first it feels as if its for no reason. But the director uses this time to really establish who she is and where she is. We spend time getting to know Callie.
was when Paul went out the window and walked on the fire escape to see if he could make it to the next apartment to get help.
twisted play, some never-ending theatrical. It wears on her mind and her body, but she knows her cause is noble. She does it all for love. Danny is late. That’s what’s pressing her nerves more than normal.
“Concentrate, Aiden!” He clapped his hands. “Please you really need to focus. This is important. Children have to be careful when they venture into the forest. There’s a pack of wild, voracious wolves with gaping mouths reeling with fangs and forked tongues each as thick as my wrist. They roam the woods, ten feet or more, and then hung in the trees, breathing raggedly tasting your scent, considering how best to devour you. As a matter of fact only, the other day several of them snatched a baby elf out of its sleeping mother’s arms and thrashed the poor little dear to pieces.
The camera all static, black and white shows a picture of a girl tied to a chair with a black sack on her head as she weeps for help, with the one light over head of the girl the shadows where harder to make out any figures or toys as the host would call them. Music starts to play as a young man walks out from the shadows with a whip in hand and toys with the girl’s legs as he walks around her. The sounds of the whip as he smacked it on her where loud but covered under the music. Blood and sweat all over the floor as the title played out for the credits of the show “See things my way and enjoy” as the screen went into static…. I stood there as the girl was huffing and puffing.
The man and woman hurried silently side by side down the dank passage. Occasionally, the woman would glance furtively over her shoulder. The passage was dark, and the only illumination came from a glowing torch that the man carried. The low light shone brightly enough to see that they were both nobles, for they were dressed with distinction.
The day had arrived. Feelings of excitement and dread rolled around in her stomach at the thought of seeing her friends and family again. She remembered the feelings of helplessness at watching her mother speak to Dr. Faas.
In William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”, Shakespeare uses death to reveal how Macbeth’s character has changed from the beginning of the play to the end. One scene that highlights Macbeth’s different personality is Act V Scene 5, where Lady Macbeth dies and Macbeth gives his “Tomorrow, tomorrow,” speech. In this scene, Macbeth is preparing for battle against Macduff when he suddenly hears a scream, which, before he became king would’ve put Macbeth on high alert, however now, it doesn’t affect him at all. When a servant notifies Macbeth that someone screamed because his wife had just taken her own life, his only response is “She should have died hereafter,” (V.v.20) and “There would have been a time for such a word,” (V.v.21). Instead of being crushed
"Dude are you going to throw it or not! I've got places to be," I demand from my fellow McDonald's worker Justin. We both hate working here but his parents are, well I don't know. I've never met them but his two brothers are as nice as twin 10 year olds can get. My parents on the other hand died when I was twelve.
