Rock and Roll all began in the 1950’s and we have the amazingly talented pioneer Chuck Barry to thank for that. Though Chuck Berry was the start of it all, Elvis Presley was the rebel that gave Rock and Roll a name and a face! This new genre of music took off once Elvis Presley began performing and the youth of the time could not get enough. Elvis Presley had introduced and widely popularized lyrics and dancing of a sexual nature. There was an unfortunate downfall of the rock stars in the ‘50’s due to the outrage of the adult community.
