Robertsdale High School is a public school in Robertsdale, Alabama. RHS was built in 1992 in its current location because the previous school buildings were not equipped to grow with the increasing population. The school is one of seven in its district. The mission of Robertsdale High School is to work with the community to provide a high-quality education that promotes learning. RHS strives to keep up with current technology and embrace new learning techniques. RHS is particularly proud of the fact that they maintain 91 percent in Math proficiency and 87 percent in English proficiency. Boys’ and girls’ sports are offered, including baseball, cheerleading, football, golf, soccer, softball, dance, and more. There are Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. The team colors are maroon and gold. While RHS prefers to keep its students as focused on academics as possible, the staff realizes that socialization is just as important. Students are encouraged to join any of the wide variety of organizations and clubs offered to them. A few specific organizations and clubs available include Future Teachers of America, NJROTC, Student Government Association, Future Business Leaders of America, and more. RHS also supports the fine arts, and proudly offers marching band, jazz band, concert choir, concert band, and more. Band students have many opportunities to participate in camps and seminars throughout the year. Just 25 minutes down the road from Robertsdale, Alabama, is Fairhope, Alabama. Fairhope has plenty of attractions to keep anyone entertained. Fairhope Avenue has multiple unique shops, restaurants, and beautiful scenery to enjoy.
