Michael Bowman, 47, was born in Aurora Illinois on July 18, 1970, a saturday night. He went to Allen Elementary School, Simmons Junior High, and East Aurora High School, graduating in 1988. He is the oldest out of three siblings, all being boys, him, Terrence, and Sean Bowman being the youngest. His mother was not really in his life much as he was growing up so he was raised by his grandmother, Irene Bowman. After graduating high school, he did go to college, he went to Waubonsee Community College in Illinois and Gateway Community College in Phoenix, Arizona in 2018. He is the father of two children, Autumn Elizabeth Bowman and Davion Bowman and the grandfather of one little boy. Michael was living in Illinois until three to four years ago then he moved to Arizona, the last time he has been up here was within the first few months of 2017, sadly for a funeral and thanksgiving of 2016. As a job Michael is a health care professional.

Arline Crute Edwards is a native Staten Islander who has lived mostly on the north shore. She was educated in New York school system and attended Manhattan Community College. In High School, she was an activist who helped organized ‘Culture Day’ to highlight diversity amongst her peers. Arline is known for her cooking and first knew she had a knack for cooking when she showcased her it during Culture Day at Port Richmond High School.

Adam Farmer’s journey to find his identity began the day his family was stripped of their identities. They received new names, new jobs and a new life. On Adam’s expedition from Vermont to Massachusetts, he faced challenges and experienced multiple occasions of self-doubt. Although his bike journey was a difficult one, the real journey was the one he went though to rediscover his past. Dennis is an African-American Catholic, and Sandi is a white Canadian Jew. This makes Drake a very unique individual, because he is one of the only black Jewish-Canadian

Adam Lind Leslie played a small but important part in the gold mining industry in NSW, during the 19th century. Without his efforts to comfort the miners, Australia’s gold industry would never of been so successful.

Robert Davis was an African American man. He was not a “thug,” he was not a “drunk,” he was a retired school teacher from New Orleans who was in his sixties. He was brutally attacked by three police officers. He suffered a broken nose and other broken bones in his face. The incident was recorded and went viral. Davis was arrested but faced no charges. Three police officers were charged but only two went to trial. In the end, two of the police officers were fired — the third never made it to trial because he had committed suicide. Davis was compensated for the assault.

Adam Brown was a man who despite of wasting time in his life using drugs, being a bad person because he was not thinking about his family feelings when they were trying to help him to get over his addictions, he could achieve his American Dream and become a better person. The first American Dream Adam achieved was raising a family, Kelley and him were very happy together and she believed in him when he was still using drugs and making bad choices. “You have so much more to offer than this, Adam Brown” (Blehm 87). She told him so many times how much she loves him and believed in him and she was waiting for him when he would become a better person leaving the drugs life. “I will be here waiting for you when you are done” (Blehm 86).

Robert Moses has become a controversial figure in urban planning. He has built many important buildings, roads, and parks that make New York City the special place it is today. However, he has destroyed many old neighborhoods and created a different sense of community.
