This is a poem called “The Road Not Taken” this poem will be analyzed and will at many times will be proven to have a true hidden meaning to said poem and how the author of the poem did not really intend for people to get the meaning that they got from the poem out of it. The author Michelle Lee looks at the full picture of the word’s “The Road Not Taken” according to the author the word “road” is misused, instead the author states that the word path is the better choice. The author in this seems to be rather skilled in writing using other words and describing them in detail like when the author talks about the “road” and the different ways one can use said road. The author has a great deal of skill when writing this, the author finds things that can make what certain other people said about the poem wrong. The author talks about that causal readers should be careful, he stated that the poem “The Road Not Taken” is a very tricky in the words that it uses and can be hard to understand what the poem is really about. The poem, “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost, is about a man walking in the woods, and he comes upon a fork in the road. He is forced to choose on path. The speaker is not able to see down the path. He chooses the path that seems to have been walked on before. At the end of the poem, the speaker is reflecting on his decision. He regrets the path he took and says that in the future he tell the story as if he took the path less taken. This poem is an extended metaphor. The message of the poem is that in life someone must make choices in which he or she doesn’t know what will come of it. In the future he or she will look back on that choice and enjambment. Within the poem, Robert Frost uses repetition and uses rhyme scheme to enhance the poetry. “The Road Not Taken” also has an implied spiritual meaning to it (Explanation of ). The implication is one of moral decision making and one of the freedom of choice humans have. The choice in this poem is seemingly meaningless, as the choices do not reveal themselves and seem to have no imminent danger or reward, yet the speaker still frets over the decision from the mere threat and burden of curiosity, the driving force of many explorers. Without this curiosity, America may have never been founded. This shows a disregard for the consequences of choosing one path over the other and releases the view of a certain amount of selfishness, that the speaker cannot choose simply because he cannot appease both halves of his curiosity.

Our lives are set to be determined by these paths and our decision is key in determining what will be of us. The descriptions of the roads in this poem is a metaphor for the narrator’s future. A person, or in this case the narrator, may make a wrong choice that leads their life down a wrong path. Just as easily, a person can choose the right path. These paths, and the choices a person makes, can make a significant impact on a person’s life. They may always wonder, like the narrator of the poem, what would have occurred had they chosen the other path.
The poem is about real and figurative roads, the roads we pace and drive on, furthermore the streets we take throughout living our lives, as the narrator of this poem considers, for all the roads we take, there is a road we don't take.
