The Watergate Scandal started when five men, Frank Sturgis, Bernard Barker, Virgilio Gonzalez, James McCord, and Eugenio Martinez known as CREEP, broke into the Watergate complex in order to bug the office with microphones to hear the plans for the upcoming election.
