Title: “A Guide To 10 Chemicals”
1. Riboflavin
Riboflavin, otherwise known as B2, is a type of B-vitamin that is soluble in water, which means that it is not stored in the body and therefore needs to be replenished each day.
Riboflavin works with over B-type vitamins to boost body growth, red blood cell production, and breaking down proteins to release energy. Riboflavin can be found in many foods, including dairy products like milk and cheese, eggs, green leafy vegetables like kale, lean meats, organ meats like livers, legumes, and nuts.
Riboflavin can also be found in grains like bread and cereal, but the riboflavin

It can also be used as a pH regulator for maintaining stable alkaline conditions that are necessary for the dark room processes associated with film photography. Another important function of soda ash or sodium carbonate is that it is added to swimming pools in order to stabilize the corrosive effects of chlorine and other highly acidic chemicals needed to purify the water in swimming pools, as well as increase the pH levels in swimming …show more content…
However, it can also be used for gas in refrigerators, purifying water supplies, and the manufacturing of many useful items like plastics, explosives, textiles, pesticides, dyes and other chemicals, and household and industrial-strength cleaning products.
8. Soybean Oil
Soybean oil is vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of soybeans. Soybean oil is one of the most biodegradable and eco-friendly chemicals commonly used for commercial purposes. It is one of the most widely used and consumed cooking oils in the food product industry, and as a drying oil, it can also be used as a chemical base for printing inks and oil paints. It is also commonly used as a fixative for insect repellants.
9. Bees Wax
Like soybean oil, Bees Wax is one of the most biodegradable and eco-friendly chemicals commonly used for commercial purposes. Bees wax is a natural wax produced by honey bees by being formed into “scales” by eight wax-producing glands in male honey bees which are then discarded in the honey bees’ hives, forming the recognizable pentagonal honeycomb foundation. The chemical composition of bees wax mainly consists of esters of fatty acids and many long-chain
Sodium has mainly been used in food processing to avoid growth of bacteria and harmful microorganisms. It is commonly used to preserve foods and beverages that have an acidic pH. Rather than benzoic acid, sodium benzoate is used because it is generally soluble in most aqueous solutions but benzoic acid is not.
B3 (niacin) is common in fortified breakfast cereals, beef liver and chicken breast. B5 (pantothentic acid) can be found in breakfast cereals and beef liver. B6 (pyridoxine) is found in foods such as chickpeas and yellow fin tuna. B7 (biotin) can be found in long grain white rice and cereals and vitamin B12 is common in meats, clams and liver. Vitamin C is found in many of the fruits we consume such as juice, citrus, peaches and vegetables like bell peppers (Tumbarello, 2012). Collectively many water soluble vitamins can also be found in a wide variety of foods such as fresh vegetables, legumes, citrus fruit, bananas, avocados, walnuts, potatoes, eggs, pork, roast beef, chicken and fish like tuna, salmon and trout. They are also found in fortified cereal grains, breads, oatmeal, and wheat bran.
Bees are the reason we have jelly, fruit, nuts, coffee and so many other vegetation (Lecture 09/27). Without these creatures we would lose so much more of our biodiversity, which is already suffering from other anthropogenic actions. Our society has a habit of finding the most cost efficient methods to produce goods that please the consumers without considering all the consequences of these actions. More importantly, we do not recognize the harm that we have caused until the damage is outrageous and requires a solution. But, this problem cannot follow those footsteps because it is essential for our ecosystem to thrive. These solution would not only save millions of dollars by being proactive, but would allow us to sustain food sources, biodiversity, and the survival of
Riboflavin has a recommendation of 1.1 milligrams and my intake for this was 1.0 milligrams, which could be increased just a little to meet the standards. Some foods that contained this vitamin are: turkey lunchmeat, 1% milk, steak, cheerios, bananas, ice cream, potato chips, lettuce, broccoli, mixed vegetables, donuts, chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and strawberries. This is another type of B vitamin and as mentioned before aids in the conversion of carbohydrates into glucose, which in turn is used to produce energy.
Bees play an important part in the world’s food web. Much of the food we eat has grown because of bees. Bees travel from flower to flower collecting nectar to take back to their colony. In the process of visiting these flowers, pollen sticks to the bees—but some of it also comes off in the flowers. This activity of bees is the primary way that plants are pollinated. Some types of fruits and vegetables must be pollinated to produce food. Without bees, we would not have the variety of foods that humans and animals depend on.
Phenols are compounds that protect our bodies from chronic diseases such as cancer. They help support our immune system and are also good for heart health.

Macbeth is a Shakespearean play which shows how ambition drives a person’s life and how people are constantly driven by uncontrolled ambition to better their lives. In the play, regardless of Lady Macbeth and the witches, Macbeth is responsible for his own downfall. He is driven by ambition to be viewed as a better man in the country and to be in control of his own fate. Uncontrolled ambition can easily turn into insanity; plans should be led through intelligence and maturity in order to achieve personal success and stay true to one self. If Macbeth has had followed his idea instead of his wife’s and also erased out what the witches told him, he would not have regretted his life at the end. William Shakespeare’s “The tragedy of MACBETH” is

Soybeans are used to help feed livestock such as poultry Beef and swine. The soybean is a high protein and offer s amino acids that help balance the reaction. Soybean meal is also fed to fish on fish farms. Soybean meal is cheaper than fish meal and also better for the fish because it is digested easily which helps the fish turn the digested protein into body weight more efficiently. Soybeans also have a use for human consumption other than the use of livestock feed There is cooking oil that is made from soybean oil. Soybean oil is also found in mayonnaise and certain dressings.ASA
The oil and gas industry is crucial to the U.S. economy and plays a central role in its environment, society, and economic development . The U.S. consumes more oil than any other country. Products derived from oil include medicine, recreational sports items, cosmetics, plastic, chemicals, transportation liquids, etc... This is to say, crude oil is the most important natural resource of the industrialized nations, as it has assisted in the technical expansion and discovery of new sources and production of existing oil fields (Wintershall, 2015).

One of the best uses for washing soda you may already know is as a laundry booster. You can even use it to make a homemade laundry soap or detergent. This product can also be used to treat stains on your clothes before running them through the wash.
We need oil because it burns to produce energy. We use it to run a vehicle, to heat a building, and to produce electric power in a generator. My family use it for our car which is important because our car gets us to school, my mother to work, and my sisters to their school activities. Oil is also used as a raw material to create products such as plastics, and hundreds of other intermediate goods. Those goods include; paint for houses, carpets, trash bags, and tool boxes. Some other materials that are made from oils are hair coloring, nail polish, shampoo, and vitamin capsules. One of the main types of oils we use everyday is gasoline. Gasoline is the main petroleum product consumed in the United States. Another type of oil consumed is distillate fuel oil, which includes diesel fuel and heating oil. Diesel fuel is used in the diesel engines of heavy construction equipment, trucks, buses, tractors, boats, trains, some automobiles, and electricity generators. Heating oil, also called fuel oil, is used in boilers and furnaces to heat homes and buildings, for industrial heating, and for producing electricity. Hydrocarbon gas
A white room stained with royal blood. On the night of July 17th of 1918 in Yekaterinburg, Russia, Yakov Yurovsky and his troops stabbed and shot to death the Russian Romanov family. He did this because he desired recognition and power. Power corrupts people’s minds. It makes people stop seeing what it is and only see what they want. He and his close friend, Banquo, stumble upon three witches who reveal their destinies. Macbeth accomplishes malevolent actions to make his prophecy true. The vicious actions Macbeth has effectuated are the cause of his death. Macbeth is the most ambitious character out of anyone in the play.
Ancient Greece is often thought of as being the birthplace of democracy. However, by taking a closer look at the modes of government, it is clear that many elements of democracy today were not present in society. Democracy is viewed very differently today than it was looked at in Greece, with the meaning of equality somehow changing over thousands of years. The ways that people participated and were represented in government has also changed, and does not show many aspects of today's democracy. With taking a closer look of the representation of ancient peoples, the role of women in ancient Greek society is also not substantial. Ancient Greece was fairly democratic because of the connections that ancient Greek government has to governments around the globe today, the participation of the people, as well as the role women played.
