There was once a time when if said that you rode mountain bikes, people would know exactly what you mean. These days though, there are many types of mountain bikes, and distinct disciplines within the world of mountain biking. Mountain bikes used to be rigid, in fact there are some people who still ride rigid mountain bikes. But now bikes come in all different form of suspension from long travel to short travel, from hardtails to full sussers; we’ve got the lot.

Sport Mountain Bikes

For those riders who wish to cycle into town on a saturday, then maybe hit a canal tow path, then up the ante and ride some trails at the local country park there are some great bikes on the market. Trek call these bikes their “Sport” range. The Marlin for men, or Skye for women cover all of the above.
