Hayden’s family of origin is Caucasian and so was his adopted parents. There is no evidence of American Indian heritage. At his time, Hayden is residing at a treatment center. His previous adopted parents recognized and celebrated the traditional American holidays. As well as, his residential placement center recognizes and celebrates the same traditional holidays.

In Montana 1948, Wesley Hayden struggles with enforcing laws on his brother, whom Wesley has felt grateful for since he “saved our [Wesley’s friend and himself] bacon” (Watson 152) in the Highdog brother incident, and providing justice for the murder of Marie Little Soldier, a Native American girl who took took care of Davy from a very young age. Indian-Americans are people who either originated themselves or descend from an ancestor who was born in India. The dynamics in a home where parents are native Indians and the children are first generation born Indian-Americans are quite different from other hyphenated American cultures. The languages used within the homes as well as the rituals to show levels of respect are critical things implemented within a family unit of this stature. The spoken and unspoken rules of communication shape the first generation Indian-Americans and how they interact with others in their generation.
Halloween is celebrated October 31st. Halloween is a short of saying All Hallows’ Evening, and All Hallows’ Eve. Some halloween activities are trick-or-treating, bonfires, costume parties, visiting “haunted houses” and carving jack-o-lanterns. Scottish, and Irish people carried traditions to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries loved this holiday in the later twentieth century along with Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
The purpose of this analytical review was to observe two different classroom environments and examine the setting in relation to promoting collaboration as well as promoting high expectations for learning success. As I observed an inclusive classroom and a self-contained classroom for an entire school day, I witnessed many teaching approaches that worked well for students and benefitted their learning experience and success, such as station teaching. I also noticed approaches that did not work well and realized how important it is for co-teachers to plan effectively. Based on research based evidence and practices both classrooms will be compared and suggestions for improvement will be highlighted.
