No one is perfect. Everyone has qualities and flaws, highs and lows. Every human being has problems, and we all commit mistakes. Life is made of choices, and every decision we take leads us to a whole new path. That is something a woman I admire was able to show me, her name is Demi Lovato. Growing up, she was bullied and dealt with a lot of issues, such as anxiety and depression. Those problems have ended up taking her to the rock bottom. Demi could have given up, but she didn't. She fought against her own demons, and was able to rise up. Staying strong, what became her motto. Furthermore, she is religious and puts all her faith in God. Which is something valuable to me. In the same way, I value her passion about music, and the way she

Eating healthier, and workout routines wasn’t the only thing that helped Demi get better. Music and her fans support did as well. Lovato also released an album in which she was able to pour her feelings into, describing it as “therapy.” Many would expect that she would receive negative comments, yet that was not her problem. Some of her fans would tattoo a heart on their wrist every day when she was in rehab. What motivated her everyday to do better was some of her fans tweeting her that she was the reason they ended their self harm, or their eating disorder. Knowing she helped thousands of teen girls overcome some of their health and mental
The Greek philosopher Aristotle defines a tragic hero as a morally-bound protagonist whose flaws develop into a downfall, suffering or defeat. Tragic heroes were first introduced in Greek mythology, though many celebrities and athletes in today’s media prove to have similar qualities. One celebrity in particular who embodies the role of tragic hero is Demi Lovato. Lovato knew that by entering the world of Disney, she could potentially end up like the several teens stars before her, including Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. Though Lovato attempted to avoid the teen star stereotype of early fame and a rapid downfall, she found herself falling down the same path of those before her.

She grew up in New York and came from a hard working family that clearly reflects in the work she does. Growing up her mom would always tell her to work hard in whatever she did, and she would always succeed. Lopez’s parents made her believe this when she was young, but she continues to believe that people must work hard to achieve what they want. Her parents were always pushing her and that is why her parents are her biggest influence. Her parents sacrificed a lot of their personal life and worked hard to give her a good home and childhood. I agree with her work philosophy, that one must work hard to achieve whatever they want. Just

After sitting down and analyzing the video and lyrics, I feel I have a better understanding of what she was going through. Beyonce feels that as a female she puts effort into her relationship, but her boyfriend just takes her for granted.
