-Next Morning- Rei POV: I woke up to the sun filling my room with light. I sat up and stretched my arms above my head. I yawned wiping the sleep from my eyes. Thinking of yesterdays events my face flushed once more. 'That damn mercenary! He got a reaction out of me.' I furrow my eyebrows together in vexation. 'I won't allow him to tease me like that again.' I sighed, remembering he was now personal bodyguard and I silently curse my father for insisting I have one. 'Now I'm stuck with him until they defeat the men from the west.. great.' I shaking my head, I clench my hand with determination. 'I'll show him his advances towards me are fruitless!' I sprang up out of bed, my new resolve in mind and made my way to the washroom so I can proceed …show more content…
I hear my stomach growl and I sigh. 'I should probably eat something, since I skipped breakfast trying to avoid Bankotsu. The children won't mind waiting a bit …show more content…
After a minute a lady comes to take my order I get a plate of dango, onigiri and green tea. As I'm waiting for my food, I'm greeted by a familiar voice. I turn around and see Ikki. "Good afternoon Princess Rei." He gives me an irrsistable smile. "Mind if I join you?" He asks. "Of course not! Please sit." I smile back at him. Ikki is quite a handsome man. He is the head general of my fathers army at the young age of nineteen. He's the most powerful man in our ranks. Power is pretty sexy don't you think? To be honest I have a bit of a crush on him and I think he feels the same about me. With the looks he has it would be hard for any person to resist his charm. I blush, as I drink up his appearance. He is tall with a muscular build, short, shaggy, dark brown hair that falls in his eyes a bit, and emerald green irises with a scar going over his left eye. Instead of wearing is usual armor, he is dressed in a red yukata with black designs embroidering it's hem, his toned chest was exposed, and a white sash is tied around his waist, his sword tucked into it. Ikki sits across from me and says in an alluring voice "You know, Hime, if you stare at men like that they might get the wrong
If you haven’t used a tampon before, and you don’t have a Phd at the end of your name, it’s hard to hear you. TMI I know, but while you change multiple times, you use them for 24 hours, and up to 4 to 7 days. It is very disturbing to think that our cotton fields are being contaminated to the point that it’s transferring into everything. And now, we’re using something that over the years could endanger our health, or God forbid our future children. And it’s not just tampons, but pads, wipes, washes and so much more. We are our own worst enemy, and we will destroy
It was hard to imagine it had only been four months since the shooting so much had happened.
The morning was foggy and I could see the front of my school through my window. It was a nice sight to see. I walked into the kitchen to make myself a bowl of cereal and there she was with her head down on the table. I could tell that she arrived a couple of hours ago because the tears hadn’t dried from her cheeks yet. I got myself ready gave her a kiss on her forehead and headed off to school. I had walked into class eager to see what my teacher Mrs. Padron had in store for today. Every single day there was something new to learn and there’s something about that infinite nature of learning that really appealed to me as a child. I cherished those 7 hours I spent in class the most I could and I dreaded the mere thought of having to go home where I would have to face the
"Thank you." I nod. She turns toward me. "Are you really going to not tell me your name?"
I don’t finish my breakfast before I jump out of my seat and head out the door down to the village. I find Arain where I was hoping she would be at the old oak that sits beside the abandoned house that had once belonged to her mother.
They told me to do it. The voices. It's not me, it's the voices! They never stopped talking. I'm afraid to be alone with my thoughts.
I finally left the bed as my stomach started growling and freshen up, went downstairs.
There was a boy whose name was Tom, but everyone called him by his last name, Rorke. Funnily enough he shared a name with his best friend and my brother, Thomas, who was nicknamed Toby for some drunken reason that I can’t begin to comprehend. Rorke and Toby were thick as thieves for as long as I can remember. When they were together, there was always a constant laughter that filled the room and they were always relaxed around each other. They also had a knack for getting into trouble, so it was a good thing that Rorke had enough charisma to charm they’re way out of anything. In the fashion of any best friendship, you could always find Rorke with Toby or vice versa, which is how I got to know Tom and I’m glad I did.
“Oh, you wise lord of the Oblins, (Gabriel then begins to bow) I have come to help you, and myself.” said Gabriel with slight smile “What do you mean?” said Cronose a little confused. “Here is the deal, I help you by retrieving the sword, and you give a better job.
To guide my research, a variety of methods was implored. A few years ago, I was afforded the opportunity to study the development of Intercultural Education policies in communities of African descent in Ecuador. At the time, the country had started to make the plight of Afro-Ecuadorians more a part of the national discourse, and many new initiatives addressing the economic and social development of Afro-Ecuadorians had been erected. During the research study, I spent time visiting schools and community organizations aimed at fomenting educational opportunities for Afro-Ecuadorians in Chota Valley, Guayaquil, and Esmeraldas- regions that have the highest population of Afro-Ecuadorians. Although I was overwhelmed by the veracity of organizers, government officials, and school personnel committed to educational advancement for students of African descent, it was the efforts of leaders in Esmeraldas that
Throughout the 20th century, the use of military aircraft often took part in deciding whether a battle or war was lost or won. The United States has been marked as notorious for successfully applying their military aviation strengths to early and mid-20th century warfare. The strategic B-29 Superfortress bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki forced Japan to surrender, allowing the United States (and Allies) to claim victory, ending World War II. In the Korean War, US military aviation proved victorious as US fighter pilots were better equipped and trained, dominating their Chinese, North Korean, and Soviet Russian opponents.

He has even called me the fairest in his eyes. Such a compliment is quite honestly a waste upon me. But he declares it is not, that I am a waste upon the complement. I do it too much justice. I stare at his hair, not wanting to meet his gaze. His gaze is just so intense I cannot even begin to imagine the effect it will have on me, other than causing me to have
This incredible handsome man with, versicolored flowing hair is like none other. His capability to enhance a woman; mortal or immortal is what has made him a legend before the creation of our world.
And happy, as Even's piercing blue eyes turn towards Isak and watch the blonde eyelashes flutter slowly - "stop looking at me." Isak murmurs, his lips quirking up at the corners and his nose slightly twitching because of Even's sweater.
