Reflective Log 2: Partnering for Success January 13th, 2016 1. The type of person that I think I would work best with is a person who shares my values of thoughtful decision making and caution. On that note, I believe a person I would not work well with is a person who consistently makes rash, frivolous decisions and any person who is consistently dishonest because these things completely clash with my personal values and beliefs. 2. Places to find a good business partner could include local business seminars as people there would likely share a common interest (starting/running a business). Other places could be hobby groups if your business idea stems from a personal interest or hobby of yours; hobby groups can be found in physical locations such as through flyers/posters or on websites like meetup.com. Finally, it may be possible to find a business partner through your current place of employment—chances are if you work with a person you likely share some skills that you can use in developing the business, and if you know the person a little bit you likely have a sense of whether or not your values …show more content…

By this I mean homeless shelters, women’s shelters, etc. because these places typically accept only non-perishable food items because safe storage is an important issue and staff would need to carefully monitor the freshness of the food. This technology could make it easier to have some perishable food items because it would allow for some perishable food items to be kept without concern for the safety of its consumption—the technology would monitor the freshness of the food so that staff did not have to. As long as some refrigeration space could be found it may be possible for shelters to keep some fresh food on hand. This could also be used at coffee places that keep dairy products out on the counters for hours on end, until the product is completely used up (for example, Treats in the University Center at MUN). I’ve noticed many people do a “sniff test” of these milk cartons to see if the product has turned sour yet.
