Innovation is a word that draws attention, elicits excitement, and makes a company stand out. Innovation architecture can be described in the same manner, but it applies to ideas and products that already exist. Whenever a product is formulated or redesigned innovation is an important aspect. My interview took place with an employee of Wework, which is a company that has changed the atmosphere of how entrepreneurs meet and interact. My reflection will provide an overview of the company, what challenges I face with my current employer, and how I can foster an innovative culture within my own organization.
Innovation Architecture Innovation architecture was an unfamiliar term, but I have a better understanding especially after reading through the answers from the interview I conducted. The quote if it ain’t broke, don’t fix comes to mind; I also understand that product development, creativity and ideas are an important aspect of innovation architecture. What if nothing ever changed? I could not imagine not having a computer, the internet, or digital devices. Without change I would be sitting a classroom with a notebook and pencil preparing to complete a term paper using a typewriter. The architecture of innovation is infinite; there is always going to be a need for change. Whether it is an upgrade, recall, or redesign this process is a part of innovative architecture; for a company to be effective there should be a team of creative, talented people ready to manifest results.
Alongside the entrepreneur spirit, Innovation is the process of taking new ideas and implementing them into the market. Key word being “new”, an innovation can be sometimes viewed as the application to better solutions that meet new demand-requirements, inarticulated needs or existing market needs. Innovative ideas range from: goods, services, products, processes, services, technologies or ideas that create value for which customers will pay for. For an idea to be an innovation, it must be replicable at an economical cost and must satisfy a specific need. This means is that one must be ready and willing put their new idea to the test. On the other hand, there is recognition that “innovation is also critical to cultural, environmental, social, and artistic progress as well” (Bullinger, 2006). With this stated, high-tech innovation is ultimately the reason why we can be thankful for the many new conveniences of the 21st century. Although we might see the forefront of innovation being very prominent in today’s world, innovation is truly nothing new. From the start of modern man times, innovative ideas have paved the way for civilization to advance and develop into what we are today and at the same time, we have barely begin to chip away at the tip of the iceberg of our true human potential. Some scholars believe that innovation is a
The earliest form of painkillers was first created in the 16th century where people used laudanum or opium prepared in alcoholic solution as pain relivers. In the early 19th century, people extracted morphine from old opium poppy plants and this form of painkiller was most commonly used in the American Civil War. As Morphine was found to be very addictive, chemists in the 1870s produced heroin that did not turn out to be a success as it was proved to be more addictive than morphine. Many other synthetic opiates such as Vicodin, OxyContin, Percocet were produced respectively in 1984, 1995 and 1999. However, these synthetic opiates could only be given if prescribed by a doctor as they could also be addictive. There were also other options of

However the one feeling this way can loose their way, become someone crude and not liked. In the novel The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne Roger Chillingworth becomes consumed by revenge. Through the character Chillingworth the theme of vengeance is dominate.

Innovation can be seen as a journey that starts with setting a purpose or goal, and ends up with innovative achievement and new learning.”
Being an innovator sometimes means that you have to stand on your own. While setting the tone for others who have become the master of their field, once can face great barriers. Content employees use language such as “this is the way we have always done things”. They are quick to shoot down the ideas of an innovator with terms such as “they are not going to listen to us”. However, it is Barry’s belief that a well thought out plan and presentation to save money and time thus being effective and efficient will open the ears to upper

There is an inclination to glorify the importance of architectural innovation upon reading this paper, due to the strength of the evidence that is presented. Nonetheless, this does not mean that radical and incremental innovations should be ignored in favour of architectural innovation. Instead, what this paper intends to do, is to draw attention to the often disregarded architectural innovation in order to drive home the point that firms should explore all the four types of innovation (incremental, modular, radical and architectural) concurrently to ensure that they stay competitive.
The importance of innovation architecture is to start with a vision and generate a company platform designed of new processes, create an open-culture and pursue a unique management system. All three of these components support and work well with innovation architecture. Google, Netflix and Ikea have built a framework designed of new company culture, management systems and process that have capitalized their business on innovation and intrapreneurship.
In the standpoint of economic consequences, costs incurred by schizophrenia are all tunnelled down to society and public sector. Cost proposed by Mangalore and Knapp (2007) was £6.7billion in 2004/05 where society and public bear 4.7million and 2million respectively. With respect to this, follow up estimation in 2010 from LSE showed a rough 3-fold increase with £11.8 billion of societal cost and £7.2 billion on public sector. This study might have a more realistic outlook with additional inclusion of tax forgone as taxation has major role in country’s economy and funding of public sectors such as NHS in England. Both studies showed that the key ‘driver’ costs are inpatient hospitalisation and unemployment.
Innovation refers to finding new ways to improve the existing products, services, processes, technologies, and employee performance in an organizational setup. In today's competitive business environment, organizations have to focus on bringing innovation in each and every aspect of their business operations; like products or service offerings, enterprise resource planning systems, marketing and promotional efforts, and organizational structure. The market challenges and competitive pressures also force organizations to use a blend of all these innovation processes in their business activities. Therefore, it is vital to give an equal focus on product innovation, process innovation, marketing innovation, and organizational innovation within the limited organizational resources and capabilities.
