She says the term “alien” shouldn’t be used to describe immigrants because it makes her feel as if she is not human in the eyes of other people. A new bill is being talked about in Congress called, the Correcting Hurtful and Alienating Names in Government Expression Act. If members of Congress vote for it, it will then become a law. Euskadi ta Askatasuna, better known as ETA, were a terrorist group that existed in the Basque region of Spain and in the southwestern part of France. Founded in 1959, it originated as a group that promoted the traditional Basque culture. What started as an organization that wanted to spread Basque pride, ended with a terrorist group that had a goal of getting independence for the Basque Country. While the ETA terrorist group was in action, they killed an estimated 857 people, 576 of which were located within the Basque region (Martin-Peña).

Like many of the different regional groups that we have studied, the Rapa Nui are dependent upon their environment for shelter and food. While the resources of Rapa Nui are not directly threatened by the commodity trade, tourism and uncontrolled immigration threaten the livelihood of the people living on the Rapa Nui islands.
Kiribati is a collection of thirty-three small islands in the Pacific Ocean along the equator. The pronunciation for Kiribati is Kir-e-bass. The islands, isolated with only a twice-week flight out, are home for 103,000 people who are desperate to remain as citizens of Kiribati. The islands face environmental, health, economic and political challenges. Despite these challenges people want to stay there and not seek refuge elsewhere.
In "What is Poverty?" Theodore Dalrymple argues that the poverty in England is not economic, it is moral and spiritual. In the text "The City by the Sea" by Shiva Naipaul discusses the poverty in Bombay and its economic and moral connections. Theodore Dalrymple also argues that the poverty his situation in England is worse than poverty in Third World countries. I agree with Dalrymple's first thesis, but in Naipaul's essay the life conditions are more miserable than England. That's why if the economic conditions in the Third World are so bad, that will bring more moral poverty. Therefore I disagree with Dalrymple’s second thesis. If one must compare countries, it shouldn't be between England and Third World countries because
