The Tomb of the Unknown is an honorable place to go to where many missing or unidentified soldiers are buried. The buried men have served our country in one or many wars. They should be recognized because they took their own time in their own life to help fight against evil and wrong. In fact, every single soldier who has put a part into fighting for the USA should be remembered. I would definitely want to put the wreath on the stand because it would be an honor and also shows how our school and I respect them for their service. Why should soldiers be honored? There are many reasons to this one simple question. First of all, they spend their time doing hard work and training to actually be in the military. When in the military you have to train with other expert soldiers, or generals, for a certain amount of time. Usually they work for 16 weeks to train, but in service you can work up to 20 years. They both served in the military for our country. My Great Uncle was named Richard, or Dick, Fazzini. He served when he was pretty young in World War II. Everyday of his life, he was committed to train to be the best. Not the best compared to the other soldiers around him, but the best of his own ability. When he signed the papers to be in the army, he immediately decided to be fully dedicated on helping our country be safe during the war and not be defeated by our enemies. My Great Uncle would give it all what he had every day he was out on the battlefield. Although he was working very hard and did not want to stop, he passed away on a field. He and his platoon were riding in big heavy weapon trucks, when they realized what they had rode over. They were mines, hundreds of them on the plains, scattered.His whole platoon drove over them and sadly died to the horrible explosions. He died for the USA and our whole family and his friends that may have grieved for him, couldn’t be more proud of
