Executive Summary In the face of consumer changes and current economic conditions, Clorox must make several key decisions regarding resource allocation and strategic focus across its product divisions. Specifically, there has been a strong focus since 2006 on product sustainability and green initiatives. As such, Clorox needs to determine if this is the right strategy to pursue for the long-term and if it needs to be green organization-wide, not just toward
Over Tennant Company’s (Tennant) 141 year history, they have consistently remained a producer of floor-cleaning equipment and technologies focusing their efforts in producing products for non-residential use. Since the new CEO Chris Killingstad has come to the company however, he has been dramatically changing Tennant’s value proposition with a broader emphasis encompassing “chemical-free cleaning and other technologies.” This case shows Tennant’s move beyond traditional green efforts to centralizing environmentally-friendly performance at the heart of the company’s focus, and whether this new focus provides enough benefit as a competitive advantage.
The purpose of this project was to gain experience in quality improvement by working with an organization to identify a business problem, analyze the causes, develop an improvement plan, implement changes, and to verify the effectiveness of the solutions. For this project we had to keep scope in mind. This project had to follow certain criteria, such as: that it is a manageable project with a local organization, it can be completed within the time frame of the course, it has a direct impact on external customers, it is relatively simple, and that it is not something that is currently undergoing major changes.
-Initiate and implement the ‘Go Green’ project to promote the sustainability features of our products to customers

As of today, the United States of America is considered the largest global force in the history of the world. From their humble beginnings, America has made a large comeback, from surviving under the British rule, to becoming an independent and successful country that other nations look up to. However, ever since ancient times, even the most powerful empires have always had their problems, which eventually led to their downfall. For instance, various empires that were at the height of their time, including Rome, the Chinese, and the Abbasid, have always fell, and not one has survived to this day. However, what has not been taken into account is that this could happen to the “Empire” of America. Currently, the U.S. has been involved in multiple

Peer Review Feedback to Stefan Kemptner’s summary of the article “The ‘Internet of Things’ thing”, written by Kevin Ashton The introduction is well accomplished, since it sums up the author’s overall statement very well and makes the reader curious about the following text. In Addition, the overall text is written in a clearly understandable language, while the textural structure is very good. Stefan uses transitional words effectively to build logical connections between paragraphs and sentences and did not copy any sentences from the original text.
Character development is like a fire. Sometimes it is a sudden combustion, other times a crackling that slowly builds up. In A Separate Peace, the main character, Gene, struggles with identity and admitting his emotions. His aloofness to others causes him to be rather cold and distant, especially to Finny who forces his friendship on Gene. Gene’s inner turmoil twists his reality into a wicked fantasy that Finny is secretly trying to sabotage gene. As a way of defending himself, Gene shakes a tree, causing Finny to fall out of it and break his leg. While this puts Gene on a path of malice and devilment, the flames of his maturation and relationship with Finny burn down his old habits and meld him into a new person. In A Separate Peace by John Knowles, Gene undergoes a dramatic change when he admits that he made Finny fall out of the tree which teaches him that coming to terms with one’s emotions is the strongest way to preserve a relationship.
