Being multilingual gives you a greater appreciation for other countries and their cultures, as well as making it easier to learn from others who have different experiences from living in different countries since some things get lost in translation. What is your first language? Do you remember your first words? How about learning to pronounce or spell words of your first language? Would you ever learn a foreign language because it sounds like a lot of work. Today some students are required to learn another language. However all students in the US shouldn't have to be required. Some reasons may include students never using the language, not learning another language would free up time, and students may not learn as much as people think. This is why students in the US shouldn't have to be required to learn another language.

Lady Macbeth is certain her that her husband should receive what was promised, “Glamis thou art, and Cawdor; and shalt be what thou art promised,” but she is afraid her husband is too nice, “yet do I fear thy nature; it is too full o’ th’ milk of human kindness to catch thy nearest way.” She believes this will stop him from going to get the crown and believes they have to cheat to get the crown.

Imagine living a life in Spain, then one day the job gets transferred to Texas in the United States of America. Now getting accustomed to this job may be hard because of the new environment, but adapting to the culture may be even harder. Well this problem can be eliminated because bilingual education should be required in all American kindergarten through twelfth-grade school systems. Not only should students be required to take one class a year, there should also be alternative elective courses of foreign languages. There are many benefits of learning a language that is not profound to a specific person. One is that learning a new language is a great way of meeting new people and making friends. Another possible positive outcome is that new language is an excellent source for traveling and could benefit a person’s employment opportunities. The United States should provide bilingual education to students in kindergarten through twelfth-grade because learning another language is good for meeting new people, traveling and expanding employment opportunities.

One should learn a foreign language to be able to make more money. Being a bilingual worker , that person can make more money than the average person who can only speak one language. According to an article , written by Morgan Rush , this is an anecdotal evidence that some companies pay bilingual workers more. Suppose if someone come to a store , they need help , but they only speak Spanish . What will one do ? Americans should think about these things when choosing whether they should learn a foreign language or not. Do not just think about how you can benefit from learning another language but about how others will benefit from it also.

Even so, it would be easiest to learn a language in primary schools than at the end of our learning in secondary schools. America contrasts from other foreign countries because America learns a language at the end of school for most students than at the beginning for the other (foreign) countries. So America is depriving all the little children of the chance to grow their interest in another language and culture.
