Hello, I am so honored today to be standing in front of parents, faculty, administrators and my fellow students as your valedictorian of the Providence School class of 2016. Most importantly, I consider each and every one of you a friend. It has truly been a great twelve years filled with wonderful memories and experiences despite all of the trials we went through. Today is the day of new starts and new beginnings. Today is the day when we come up and accept a piece of paper we have earned based on all our individual accomplishments and move onto the next big step in, our lives. Providence School has taught us many things about life and about ourselves. We have athletes who have excelled at their individual sports. We have students that have …show more content…
We as individuals need to help the world move forward and not backward. Society today struggles with prejudice in politics, religion, immigration, and race just to name a few. We need to help give the world direction going forward. Believe me when I tell you this school and its faculty has equipped us to be lights in this world. We have the tools we need. Jeremiah 3:11 states all things are possible through him that gives us strength. Believe this and act on it! Each of us has a responsibility to reach out to those in need, to show the love of Jesus Christ. Remember our friendships and good times together as the class of 2016. Our work here at school is now done, but in reality our work in the world is just now beginning as individuals or as a group. We all have the ability to make a difference going forward. We must take this challenge seriously. I look forward to meeting back here at our reunion in 2026, to see what impact each and every one of us has made on the world that we live in. May the Lord be with each and every one of
Congratulations! You have been officially accepted to Motlow State Community College. We have received all of the required admission materials, and your file is now complete.
Believe, succeed, achieve! This motto has been ingrained into the minds of Delta High School's class of 2017 since middle school, and that is what they have done. They believed that they could succeed in academics, athletics and other extracurricular activities, which has led them to achieve many honors. On Sunday, May 21st, Derek Carlson, Delta High School's Principal, wanted to recognize the class of 2017 not by “quantifiable measures like test scores and number of championships,” but more importantly by how much grit, character, and work ethic this class has shown.
I have the distinct pleasure of welcoming all of you into the National Honor Society, a group built off of high standards of achievement, not only in the area of academics but also in character and leadership. I congratulate each of you and your parents.
Furthermore, I do not regret a single part of this year, and even parts of eighth grade I was dreading, such as the National History Day project, turned out to be wonderful learning experiences that I genuinely enjoyed participating in. Thank you, teachers for continuing to find ways to encourage our further learning. Thank you, fellow classmates for helping me and making me smile. Thank you, Mrs. Arzola, Mrs. Chung, and all of the South Pointe staff for investing in so many new programs. And finally, thank you to the whole South Pointe community for supporting each other as we all continued to grow together and find out what our true passions are. I am both excited and extremely nervous for my journey into high school, and I can only hope to find another school as great as this one, that will continue to shape our lives just as South Pointe has. So, as we exit the grounds today and move onto high school, I can’t help but think that we will all reconvene here when our children will have the privilege of walking in our
Dear administrators, teachers, parents, beloved friends, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 8th grade graduation. It’s a pleasure to be standing in front of you today on this beautiful day to express the happiness we all feel.
Thank you so much for your post and kind words. I greatly appreciate it! I have always enjoyed reading your post and comments. Your knowledge and discussions on our various studies has always been educational and useful to me and our fellow classmates. I have always said that the discussions and sharing of information on our DQ’s has been one of my favorite parts of my GCU journey.
First off I want to say congratulations to everyone for completing another year of College Projects, Honors in Action and being active Phi Theta Kappans. “May you never regret what might have been.” “Love as Thou Wilt.” “All knowledge is worth having.” These three quotes can sum up my philosophy in life.
Good afternoon graduates, families, friends, and faculty. Today, the Hillsborough Middle School class of 2016 will be graduating from the place that we have called home for the past two years. Today, a new chapter in the lives of these students begins. However, before we leave, I would like to remind us of the memories and accomplishments that we have experienced over the course of our middle school education.
Very Reverend Edward Quinlan, Sister Mary Anne, clergy, members of the Board of Directors, administration, faculty, staff, parents, family members, and friends. Good evening and welcome to the graduation ceremony for Bishop McDevitt High School’s Class of 2017. On behalf of my classmates, I would like to thank you all for the encouragement and guidance you have given us, as we finish these years with pride, integrity, and respect for both ourselves and for each other. Most importantly, thank you to our parents. Without your endless love, hugs, and care, we would not be donning these blue caps and gowns, ready to receive the diplomas that you have helped us earn.
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, I am deeply honored to be here. I cannot begin to adequately express my appreciation for you; teachers, friends, coaches, family, and community members, all of whom have enabled my class and me to be before you tonight. In particular, I would like to thank the individuals who, like my aunt and grandmother, traveled great distances to support the Class of 2016 and to celebrate this pivotal moment in all of our lives.
Good morning, my name is Jacqueline Heitmann and I am currently a 8th grader at St. Rose of Lima. As of tonight, we will be graduating into high school, a new step in our journey. Before I begin, I'd like to give big "Thank You" on behalf of my class to all of our faculty, staff, parents, sponsors, and everyone who was involved in our St. Rose experience. You may not have known it, but each and everyone of you has played a huge part in our daily lives, and we want you all to know that.
Coming back to the present tonight we all all here because we went down a twisty path and went over a mountain. Metaphorically speaking. We have successfully completed our high school experience with the help of teachers , fellow students , families and parents. Tonight we accomplished part of our path and after today is next part of a road which will eventually lead to new experiences, new choices and impacts , overcoming challenges but overall will lead to victory. Don't worry about what the future holds in store but embrace all life that it has to offer. Congratulations to the class of 2017, but just remember to work it, love it and continue on your path because great things are on there
Good evening. I would first like to welcome the class of 2016, as well as all faculty, family, and friends. Thank you for this great honor of speaking on such an exceptional evening. Truly, today is no ordinary day. Today is a day of graduation, of success, of pride, of change, of great importance. The people we are sitting next to, whom we have sat next to in classrooms forever, may never sit next to us again. For the past few years, all we have had are each other. All we have had is this. We have managed to encompass our whole world within this one community. As we leave this ceremony tonight, I want each of us to leave this stage in celebration.
Good afternoon lobos, staff, parents, and families. We are all joined together by such a special event of us students graduating 8th grade and moving on towards a new chapter in our life. I’d like to thank our teachers and staff for teaching us material to become successful individuals in the future, our APs Mrs, Keller, Mrs. Dinh, Ms. George, and Mrs, Hansen Vera, along with our principal Mr. Bond for making our school a caring environment where we have all flourished. I’d also like to thank our parents for always supporting us, driving us to our classes whether it is school or extracurriculars, and for standing by is though the easy and though.
It is my great privilege to stand here today, looking out at the bright and smiling faces of so many of my fellow students. We are here to celebrate something special. We are here to celebrate the fulfillment of eight hundred and forty hopes. We are here to celebrate the realization of eight hundred and forty dreams. Class of 2017, congratulations!
