First of all, the Professional Practice in IT course is one type of standard subject as ethics are part of every beliefs and play a substantial role in nurture of a human. Furthermore, most of the people should be interconnected about the after effects of technology and they must not be upset by use of any technology. These quiz covered all the content so it is good for me because I have to read carefully and realise each concept before start the quiz. The question of the quiz are really supportive to understand what kind of issues actually happen in IT industry. There are various points that I learned from the quiz section.
It helped me to test identifies gaps in ethical knowledge.
Basically, it reduced forgetting things and it makes the next related study capacity more creative.
The quiz provides feedback in each question so after test I could configure what is right and what is wrong.
The frequent testing quiz encouraged me to study regularly and having every week quizzes or tests influences good on study and reduced delay.
This type of quiz improved my meta-cognitive observing by giving the score and it can better predict my knowledge and be more confident about what I know and what I need to

When I will work in IT industry after finish my study at that time it might be helpful. In this semester I also read and understand the rules and regulation of Australian Computer Society because to fulfil the requirements of this course or assessment and I understand it might be useful in any stage. There are lot of thing that I learned from the ACS. For instance, how to Maintain and promote a Code of Ethics as a member of the Society or IT industry, it encouraged me the standards of knowledge of ICT, I understood how to organise of effective policies on ICT and related matters, and provide me useful knowledge about understanding of ICT in the community and what kind of benefits offered to employing members of the Society. These all idea I learned from this course, before that I didn’t know about the ACS and its policy which is related to the ethical technology. I think it might be help me in future. Because, Information Technology in the 21st century allows people to develop whatever that come in their minds, anywhere in the world. Additionally, there were various type of ethical issues faced by IT industry. Finally, I also learned various new idea or knowledge from the textbook such as what kind of ethical factors include in code of ethics, code of professional conduct and professional practice. Moreover, code of ethic influence on
Being a non-traditional student, I have the opportunity to attend school while also pursuing a career in Information Technology (IT). Within the field of IT there are many avenues to explore ethics depending on the type of business that is being supported, or what the technical specialty may be. For instance, if the business operates in a medical environment that treats patients, there are privacy concerns, and ethical standards that must be followed. The same can be said for the financial community, and education. While the breadth of Information Technology and the available specializations are vast, perhaps even more impressive are the amount of trust and ethical burden placed on the Information Technology professional.
Students may see the results and decide to change their study habits. One application for the real world could be
I assess my students at regular intervals. Every time I ask a question to an individual or to a class I am assessing their knowledge and understanding.
It was found that the more a student attempted a quiz, that higher the student’s grade on the quiz became. There are several reasons that take credit for this. The first reason is that taking a quiz for the first time gives a student a better idea of the material that the quiz covers, so if a student attempts the quiz again he/she will be more prepared. The second reason is
Completing these quizzes has helped me better understand my ability to succeed as an online psychology student. The results from the SORT quiz made complete sense. I scored high in the life factor, personal attributes, and tech competency. This means that I do not have many distractions or other responsibilities to interfere with my schooling. I have a great support system, including my family, coworkers, and my boyfriend. I also know quite a bit about using a computer. I scored lower in technology knowledge meaning that I am not very useful when it comes to fixing computers. Lastly, for this quiz, I scored lower in the reading recall section. I believe this just means that I need to pay more attention to details within the writing I am reading.
Secondly, quizzes don’t tell a teacher doesn't a teacher enough why they are struggling it also doesn't generally reveal a child's thinking process. According to www.understood.org AR can affect a child's self esteem towards
Self testing can be used by students when they are studying for a range of subjects, and can be a very effective tool for enhancing memory recall. The Articles by Karpicke, Ariel and Tran, all discuss the importance of self testing and self learning in the education system, and suggest that students who used the self testing method were more likely to receive better results when tested on the same information. The practice of self testing can be an effective tool for students to use when studying for a range of subjects as it does enhance the retrieval process of memory. This essay evaluates the effectiveness of self testing as a way for university students to study for the PSYC101 final exam.
Selected-response questions are where students answer questions with one correct answer from a provided lists of responses (McMillan, 2013). A few advantages are that it is quick to score and grade, gives practice for standardized testing, and can assess the learning targets for that unit (McMillan, 2013). This is important because having the tests match up to the targets can make the assessment valid. Also, having the students prepare for standardized tests is a great opportunity for them to prepare for the ISATs or SATs. Despite of that, some disadvantages are that it is time consuming to make, can encourage guessing and focuses on low cognitive thinking rather than high (McMillan, 2013). The disadvantages are important because it tells
The quizzes will represent mock trials that are held every Friday. The teacher will select a topic, either a real or made up trial and split the class into two groups randomly. Students are given the topic and teams at the end of class Thursday. The teacher is the judge and the students are the defenders and prosecutors, chosen at random. At the end, which ever team has had the best argument (chosen by the judge), gets five extra points for each students quiz grade. The quiz grade will be based on how much the student participated. At the end of the mock trial there will be a 5 question multiple choice quiz that will be worth 25% of the overall quiz grade. The questions will be based on what the students learned that week. Each question will only be worth 5 points out of 100. The point of the quizzes are to make sure the student was engaged in the class discussions throughout the week. Quizzes are worth 20% of your

There are many approaches that are better than written tests for assessing learning – and, crucially, they do not penalize learners who struggle with academic exams
In order to mitigate this problem, a maturity model of professionalism should be considered through emphasizing on the organized level, qualified level, and public level. The British Computer Society developed a general maturity model to provide a reference point against which a profession can be measured on its path to maturity. I think we should follow the recommendations of the report to make information system professionalism into a standard level. The content of the article is very much current, relevant, and applicable to the ethics and profession of information systems. It truly mentions the key issues of project success rate and system disaster in information system profession. We should set up a short term and long term goals to move the IT profession from its current status to the public level. In order to reach that goal, it is necessary to formalize the maintenance of CS, IS, and ICT standard curriculums, and to make a draft of straw man Board Certifications and State IT Licensing Initiative. Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP) with support of the Association of Computing machinery (ACM), Association of Information Systems (AIS) and Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) can submit a grant proposal to the federal government for the funding needed to convene a congress to initiate the actions needed to reach the goal. The maturity model of the article is very helpful to move forward for the statutory enhancements to information system professionalism. IT professional can take these suggestions as a guideline to move the IT profession to the public level. We should make an integrated dedicated move to true professionalism in the United States using Board Certification and State Licensing
It’s important to make sure that the assessments are accurately measuring what students know, however, good test items are difficult to write. An item analysis can help improve assessments because it shows which items are too easy or too difficult as well as how well a question distinguishes between students at the top and bottom (Making sense of test analysis, n.d.). This analysis is helpful to understand which questions need to be changed, removed or should be kept (Making sense of test analysis, n.d.). In this way, it is designed to enhance the quality of each question and therefore will help teachers increases the validity and reliability of the full assessment (Making sense of test analysis, n.d.). Thus, item analysis is essential
IT Professional is a publication (Keith W. Miller 2009), it is such like book publication, it also has copyright problem, plagiarism problem, and many problems like book publication, so, to be the Professionals, they must act like the book authors to solve these problems. So knowing the Information Technology Ethics is very important to everyone, because it is useful to everyone who lives in this
