Introduction: George Orwell's novel Animal Farm is an allegory for the Russian Revolution, in the novel Orwell depicts his views on the Russian Revolution through a number of different themes, one of these themes is Pride, Pride is shown throughout both events and is used more than once for good reasons and for bad reasons, Another theme that Orwell shows hs views of the system is through Violence, violence had a huge impact on the novel/Revolution and for mostly bad reasons through one body of people(or pigs controlling the others with threats) and the final theme that Orwell uses is Fear, fear was used to control the animals(i will say animals from now on to represent both elements) and played a big flaw in the system. Paragraph 1: The first theme that Orwell uses to depict his views about the communist system is pride, pride was a downfall of the communist system because Stalin/Napoleon both believed that they were better and smarter than everyone else and deserved privileges over everyone else, they believed that they were the best, kindest and most cunning and made themselves, over time become the leader, but they also let everyone …show more content…
