Imagine living in a world where teens are doing drugs, pressuring their peers, and trying to be just like the models in magazines. Unfortunately, that’s the world we live in today. What do these teens need? They need positive adult role models. It is important for a teen to be influenced by positive adult role models while growing up; because if they don’t have positive adult role models, teens can be influenced by negative media, negative peer pressure, and teen drug use.

Having the label “role model” can also have its downside. Being an African American role model can be a stressful thing as well as inspirational. If you’re an African American and you look failure in the eyes, the world would say that you won’t prepared for the job. In other words, the world would judge your skill based upon your pigment. Case management services were provided through an FTM (family team meting) in the youth’s home. Present at the meeting were WYP (Wraparound Youth Partner) Andy Ngo, WYP Vicky Tran, WPP (Wraparound Parent Partner) Shannon Ortiz, WCC (Wraparound care Coordinator) Jody Taylor, SSW (Social Services Worker) Stacey Padilla, the youth’s grandfather, the siblings, and the youth. The team went around sharing about the successes and the positives (what is working well), The youth is getting tutoring at school and in the home. The kids are doing their chores. The sisters look up to the youth as a role model. The youth does not have any behavior issue with WYP Ngo. The grandfather was at court on October 12th, 2016 to adopt the kids. The next court date

The first presidents of the United States had one of the most important jobs; to be role models for all the other presidents. President John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison were some of the first presidents that I believe were the best role models with domestic and foreign policies. The presidents of the New Republic Era helped achieve a strong nation through their leadership on domestic and foreign policy issues. Most people would say that in order to be considered a good role model, you first need to be considered a good person. A good person is typically a person who has empathy for others, tries their best to make good decisions, and follows the law. After reading this description, of what a good person is, celebrities would not typically be the first group of people that would pop into your head because of their bad reputations, but that doesn't mean that all public figures are known for their bad choices. Celebrities should be famous for their talents and skills in some sort of field, or they could just have a great life story and have done great things in their life which inspired people to do the same. After all, everyday people run red lights all the time and no one would ever know, but the moment a celebrity gets one traffic ticket, it will be instantly posted all over every single magazine and news station. Public figures should be considered role models because, many public figures can serve as inspiration to do great things and a great example of what can happen if you make bad decisions.

Role models have an astounding effect on the lives of young people in our society. A role model has the ability to shape the views, ideals, and actions of a young person. Role models help youth to discover how they wish to become in the future. The influence that role models have over young people is tremendous. It is important for role models to be positive and responsible in instilling good morals and values because future generations are directly dependent on the role models of today. By examining the influence of role models, role models in the community, and role models in the media, we will be able to determine the true effect that role models have on the lives of youth.

Netflix is a big topic of discussion on social media networks. It has also created the term “Netflix and Chill” which is used in many different ways. It has provided a way to watch TV online whether you're on a phone, tablet, or computer. It is also available on smart TVs. Netflix has made it’s own original series like House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, and the newest, Fuller House. Fuller House is a spinoff of Full House with most of the same cast members and some new. It was a very popular topic on the internet before it came out and now that it’s out it is too.

A role model is a person who inspires and encourages us to strive for greatness, live to our fullest potential, and see the best in ourselves. A role model is someone we admire and someone we inspire to be like. Most kids of today pick their role models from who they see on TV. Role models are a large part of everyone’s lives. Every person is looking for something different when searching for the best role model for them. But who makes a good model? The celebrities that kids are looking up to are adults that partake in adult and illegal behavior such as partying, drinking, and drugs that lead into violence. Would you consider that a good role model material? Celebrities should not be looked up to as role models.

A role model is someone who has a significant impact in your life. When people are asked who’s their role model, of the answers would say a celebrity or an athlete, but for me the answer is my mother. There are so many great qualities about her that motivates me to be a better person. For the past seventeen years of my life, she has been there for me in every way I can possibly think of. She’s my inspiration and motivation I look for when I need it. In the future, I want to be able to be there for her just like all those times she was there for me. She has so many great characteristics I’ve personally witnessed that has shaped me into the best version of myself.
